We are living in the Age of Nonsense.

Our Leaders, the WH, and Pundits take to the air daiiy and vociferciously proclaim utter nonsense.

A news report on the Adminitration, usually includes quotes from WH officials. Their spin is included in the story. That is news today.

I just heard a report about the Solar Energy company where Obama lent them lots of money and there are problems and issues (Bankruptcy). In the report, they said it's going to be hard to make the case against the Obama administration because the Bush administration considered the same thing (loaning them money).

'Considered' being the operative word there - maybe a better way to put that is the Bush Administration refused to make the loan?

You can't blame us because Bush considered the same thing? Really?

This is public discourse at the highest level?

God Help us.

The Bush issue had been mentioned days ago in articles, but none pushed the topic really. If you're saying that Bush note has become more a part of the news, or the actual news, it leaves one wondering why it has been brought up. CYA????

If we had reporters, the nonsense would probably end fairly quickly...

Just another attempt to deflect responsible from the Obama Administration.

July 2005 the Bush Administration signs the Energy Policy Act of 2005 into law, creating the 1703 loan guarantee program which the loan comes under.

It was the Obama Administration who gave them 500 million dollars in 2009

"In January 2009, shortly before President Obama took office, Energy officials reviewed the application. They said that “the project appears to have merit” but did not approve the loan, requesting additional information, including an independent market analysis of the company’s long-term prospects, according to the Republican staff memo."

BOR tonight says - it was really the Bush administration that started the loan - and his guest quickly agreed.

They just want to grab onto - it was Bush too. Bush was just as bad.
