The timing was impeccable - as was the audio-visual coordination throughout!

I especially like the first reference to the "source of evil"
BUT you have to remember, though: he was "just trying to do the right thing."

"At the Heart of the Storm is a source of Evil that will Change their Lives Forever"

Can't get any closer to the Truth than that!

Not even a minor role for Richard H. Brodhead? Not even hot tears of self-pity for the pain the lacrosse captains and the players caused him to suffer?

And since this is a horror movie this would be a place to use the picture of Burness that MikeZPU will never post again.

Haha -- yes, when I think of that particular picture of Burness, what
comes to mind is that famous Marlon Brando quote from Apocalypse Now:

"The horror, the horror ..." :)

Seriously, relative to KC's series on N&O's interviews with Trace Cline,
"Law Enforcement 101" will tell you that if someone has to think a while
before answering fairly simple, straightforward questions AND if that
person also provides contradictory answers, the person is HIDING THE TRUTH!

At the same time, "Law Enforcement 101" will also tell you that if a
suspect undergoes a fairly dramatic change of appearance for the worse
-- like putting on a lot of weight and generally looking quite haggard --
that can be a strong sign of GUILT!

Burness was looking really bad towards the end of the Duke Case
(remember that comment about his retirement massage ... whoops,
sorry for bringing that up :) ) I think that was a classic sign of guilt.
Somewhere under all those layers of flesh is a conscience and it
was eating at him (while he kept eating ... :) )
