The J Wellington Wimpy jobs plan. He'll gladly pay on Tuesday for jobs today.

It is all a dog & pony show. Obama & the Dems know the Republicans won't pass a 450 Billion Dollar Obama Reelection Stimulus Bill out of the House. It wouldn't lower unemployment if they did anyway.

The arrogance of this man is unbelievable and is only match by his lying. It's all paid for yet he gives no details and wants the Congress to pass it right away. Congress couldn't even get 30 Billion in cuts earlier this year.

Woe is us for having elected him. 16 more months of him. :bump: :bump:

I just browsed about 20 articles on the speech, reading all of maybe 5. There were none really showing steam from the speech. A few positive on it, mainly praising all the spending and never mentioning the payments due for it.

More than half of them had little positive to say, more negative. I went with the top sites, like WP, CBS, WSJ...

I bet by tomorrow, when the reporters have had time to read what he said and not rush to report, we'll see more negative results from how he proposed to pay later.

If he gets re-elected, he will then have no fear of taking bold steps towards socialism...

Best line I've seen today

But let's credit Obama with a great idea for stimulating the economy - I am going to buy a sports car and tell my wife it is already already paid for, with savings that she and I will identify later. That will work!

How many of us have been told since we were teenagers, when you must buy now, must act immediately -- something is wrong.

Why would Obama mention Warren Buffet? The news about his tax problem was already well known...yet they use him in the speech...

Have you ever been to a timeshare presentation?

Same hard sell, same apprehensions.

"Do it now", before you have a chance to think about it.

There was someone on just a bit ago on Fox & Friends. He got twisted up in the new language transformation requirements.

He promised there will be no new "revenue" increases on anyone.

It was Gene Spurling, National Economic Council Director.

I'd like to add that I would look forward to an increase in my family's revenues.
