. CNN: Jobs are really unimportant and a progressive society should really move beyond jobs. Wow, what Timing. Sounds like all the Funemployment articles. http://www.cnn.com/2011/OPINION/09/07/rushkoff.jobs.obsolete/ I know! Maybe a Centralized, all-powerful huge Government machine is obsolete. . |

. Notice how the author fails to mention that Fedex and UPS are very profitable. Just a small detail. . |

This stupid SOB misses out on WHO builds his house he lives in and produces the food he eats, all evidently free because it's his right to have it provided. Let him consume his "digital production" and beg a neighbor to allow him to charge his laptop ...he forgot the right to utilities and other forms of energy that computer did not produce ...and Obama hasn't quite yet made the internet connections a right enjoy for free. He comes across as one who certainly classifies himself with the elite, a part of those who do not have to have the jobs he's hoping to reduce or eliminate entirely. I really believe this guy was wasted when he wrote this, nobody could really believe it. Edited by kbp, Sep 7 2011, 10:02 PM.

His blog Judging from the comments and his other posts, he may have been born "wasted", or a waste at birth anyway. He seems to sincerely believe all improvements would come from him and his new and expanding superior class - those who do not need a job. The good news is that this class will never conquer us inferior beings, not unless we produce arms in which we use against ourselves to fight the battle for them. |

I lived my life in servicing the Agriculture & construction industry. It never ceases to amaze me how stupid some "intelligent" people are. They have no clue as to the amount of hard work needed to run our society I will admit that at times I take satisfaction knowing if the sh*t really hits the fan and a giant reset occurs there will be millions of fools walking around without a clue. I believe in technology but when a man loses touch with the real world of gasoline, grease, and wrenches he becomes too dependent on others. I see it all the time when someone says we don't need corporate farming. |

These are possibly the 5 best sentences you'll ever read: Unfortunately, most voters don't know this. (#5 explains why the azzhat's ideas will not work) 1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity. 2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. 3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. 4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it. 5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them; and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work, because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that is the beginning of the end of any nation. |

. Yes, Yes, Yes. However, CNN is a large News Organization -- why are they soliciting and publishing this particular opinion? It goes way beyond the person that authored this. Why are large media organizations embracing it? . |

. Beautiful, but try telling that to 46% (or whatever) that don't pay any Federal tax and want to raise your taxes. That is going to be the problem - we're just seeing the beginning of people demanding more and better handouts. . . |
