It's Not Crystal, who is referred to as 'the Virgin Mangum' in some circles.

Dorothy Louis Wilson

DURHAM -- Dorothy Louis Wilson departed this life on January 15 at Duke Hospice Hock Family Pavilion.

She is survived by her significant other, Wallace Holmes; her daughters, Cynthia Wilson and Anita Wilson; her sons, Ricardo Wilson and Reginald Daye.

Funeral will be held January 21, 2011 at 12 p.m. at Fisher Memorial United Holy Church.

(snip)

If it is the same Reginald Daye, then the funeral home handling his mother's internment could also be the one handling his.

Has his obituary been in the local paper?

Has the body even been released to the family yet? I would think so, but we are talking about Durham.

Were you able to ctrl C/V??

I always use ctrl C/V to copy/paste (even after other methods became available ... it's just habit & easier for me). When I tried to ctrl C on that obit. I got a message that H/S data was protected and I wasn't allowed to copy! hmmmph.

So, he was quite a bit older than CGM....if my math is correct he would be 45. How old is Mangum.....in her early thirties? Whar did Mr. Daye do for a living? Generally, an obit has that kind of information unless one is independently wealthy (in which case one would think he would have been consorting with a little higher priced woman), living as a member of the underground economy, or one's means of sustenance was the state.

The media reported he was a painter, as in construction work. I suspect his funeral is in need of donations to cover the costs, so the OBIT may just be something quick. Of course text cost nothing on a web page, so I'd hope someone could do a little better for him.

Mr. Daye's obituary appears to be the most recent listed in the funeral home's "recent" list. Perhaps (?) it's so recent that the family hasn't provided a picture and/or more detail for the obituary? Just guessing.
