I see the Criminal Enabler Club is out feeding quotes to the Media - again. This time they bring up that supposedly Crystal can't get work.

WHY SHOULD SHE WORK?

She gets Government checks for the Kids, she gets donations, she has a Fan Club that continually rouses up Cash, Hair Vouchers, Outfits, and more.

What's she going to do, buy a Car? She can't Drive.

What do you Buy for a woman that has three Drivers?

.
Did she really have breast implants?
(assume that's necessary for a person in her chosen profession ???)
is this a 'tax write-off' ?) yeah, right.

WHO PAID FOR THEM?
.
Absolutely, she has Breast Implants.

There are pictures of her from her numerous work places - it's rather obvious - and she admitted to it, is my understanding.

Someone said she wrote about it in her Book too.

Why in the world would any GOOD man be sleepig in Crystal's bed?

With one eye open.

Oh, you said "why", not "how".

My bad. ;>)

I can only imagine the worried looks around the DA's office today. Every asst DA is probably hiding in fear of being assigned to the case which should most likely be filed as a murder charge. Oh the fear in going up against the famed Traffic court attorney, "Woody Vann!" Perhaps Woody is getting the old team together, sort of like "Durham Reds."

The prospect of covering this train-wreck of a trial makes me wonder will the TV camera trucks & pundits come back to Durham?

Jackie Wagstaff, Vince Clark and all the other enablers do not represent how Durham will react to this murder. If Jackie Wagstaff was that popular she would have been reelected to the school board and or the city council. Instead she was accused of wrongdoing and lost. But she is a loser to many backs and whites in Durham. I am sorry to be defending Durham, but it is not represented by Jackie Wagstaff. She just speaks the loudest like all radicals speak the loudest.

I believe she said the exact same words this time as she did last time mangum was in jail. She cant even be innovative enough to change her story.
.
Not to argue with you Chatham, but we also must consider Prof Coleman (Duke) rolling around in it (happily) because essentially everyone in Power in Durham was reelected after the Duke Lacrosse Fiasco.

The same bunch was reupped - even after it was apparent they participated in the Public Lynching - and had no interest in finding the Truth.

That's the other side of the Coin.

No argument here Mason. I was just defending the fine people of Durham, not the powers that be. But Coleman was then, wagstaff and Clark are now. Bell and the powers talked then, they are silent now. Wagstaff and Clark cant keep their trap shut. Wagstaff, clark and all the other (probably 10 or 15) enablers do not represent the good people of Durham. However, there was that fine fellow who called me a cracka in da judges courtroom, but again he is a supporter of wagstaff.

It will be very interesting to see how Cline works with this case, Once again it turns into high profile domestic and international headlines. Since DA's, IMO, are always political by nature, I would expect Cline to pursue this case in a way that will gain her some power within NC that she does not have now.

The WRAL has also picked up on the AP's story line.

The story has gone all over--search Google ("tom breen duke lacrosse") and it's been picked up by lots of
media that rely on the AP.

I would even think that it is actionable--because it blames the lacrosse incident--
and by implication, the players--for her 'downward spiral'.

A retraction--and correction--is really necessary.

Or, at the very least, this is proof that the real story has not yet been told, or penetrated
the public consciousness; that the reputations of the team are STILL being damaged;
and that revelation of the full story is necessary.

ETA:

There's no reason one can't 1 ) complain about the story to the AP:

Associated Press
Office: (919) 510-8937
Pressroom: (919) 821-4208
Fax: (919) 821-0127
4800 Six Forks Rd., Suite 210
Raleigh, N.C. 27609
Contact Gary Robertson
Contact Emery Dalesio

and 2 ) submit our own corrected version (and other information and stories in the future)
with the hope they can be bylined.

Obviously, if you know how to work the media, you get your storyline out (or if the media cooperates
with you)

Experience with the media shows that the truth isn't going to cross the finish line first if nobody even goes into the
garage and starts the engine (it won't start itself)

So when are RCD going to be hauled in for questioning? This murder is clearly their fault.

Indeed, when you look at the incidents prior to the lacrosse case involving the taxi and the assault on the female patron at the strip club, the lacrosse players injured her so badly that she suffers from pre-traumatic stress syndrome as well.

Don't be so sure they won't try to bail Crystal and let her out and on the Town while they decide what to do and eventually have to have a trial

If NC is anything like where I live, the total aggregate of bonds outstanding is usually limited by the net value of the bonding company and any that will co-sign for it's bonding capacity. Her bond for a murder charge should be something to worry about. You wouldn't find some fly-by-night company even being able to do it here, especially for free!

That AP story was predicted by a few here, Mason in the lead!

First, let me repeat the caution that Mangum is innocent until proven guilty.

Jason, how great to see you again. Let me be clear that I believe in the right of presumption of innocence, but we all know here that the facts as we know them today do not bear out that theory. Crystal has dealt her last hand in my opinion. However, there is an evil undercurrent in Durham that will exonerate her of almost anything despite evidence to the contrary. This is absolute corruption and her court appointed, tax paid for attorney, Woody, Spinless, Vann knows the truth and yet he will march to the bar of justice and proclaim once again that she is thle virtuous heroine of some seedy lie circulating in the community. In the meantime three innocent lives will be circulated among the enablers by the Dept. of Social Services and the collateral damages continue to mount. While still breathing, she has also killed in subtle ways the future of her children. That is something she will never be tried for.

Soon Crystal will be suing Daye's family for damages.

The murder will have become Crystal's desperate struggle against another bad male.

Bad males keep leading her astray and hurting her.

Puke...

They had already charged her for "intent to kill". It would seem impossible to not charge her for murder. I'd expect they'll back down to lesser charges later, even try the case so she could only be convicted for them (where would I get that idea?!)

We can only hope that this family does not cower in the presence of the Durham machine. They need a lot of support and backbone and I hope they will stand the test.

Let me tell you something, pendejo.
Whatever happened to Ms. Cannon's sexual harrassment claims against Big C?

I'm kicking myself for deleting those pics of Big C's towel-wrapped package from my photobucket account. The piece I wrote about him isn't as funny with the visuals that originally accompanied it replaced by big white squares stating, "This image has been moved or deleted." FML.

Hey there Jason, long time...

:rose:

I have been around. My old computer died and I lost my login info so I could not login as myself for a while.

Yes I too wondered where Jason went. He is right about being innocent until proven guilty, Jason said the same about RDC, but the big difference is that RDC, had no cirminal record, but here we are with CGM, who is a criminal, looking for a place to commit a crime.
