Back in 2010 when crystal was having her front porch news conference with ankle bracelet I met Sidney. He handed me a complaint form he had mailed to the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division Coordination and Review Section. It was about the DPD and others within the city discriminating against Crystal ....rofl I have not heard anything about this complaint. I guess it went away (assuming it was even submitted) It appears Sidney is running out of money and thinks that Duke is a cash cow. I guess by that criteria we should all sue Duke lol lol |

I missed where Coleman showed that "he believes white people only have so many rights under the law - and they should be happy when they escape a racial lynching.". When did he say that? |

This lawsuit looks like something out of a sci-fi movie. Can it get crazier in Durham? I don't think so. Perhaps people should start filtering their water in Durham with a little Jack Daniels to kill the stupidity bacteria that seems to be taking over the population. |

. Quote: "Nifong had already basically attacked students as being wealthy, white, privileged students whose fathers could go out and buy them the best lawyers," Coleman said. "I don't think the University could have asserted that the students were innocent under those circumstances." Coleman, April 2007 "There's going to be something of a backlash against the audacity of the litigation against the city and against the University," he said. "I think most people believe that the students were harmed by what happened to them but not to the extent that the lawsuits suggest." Coleman, Nov. 2007 http://dukechronicle.com/article/suit-lax-case-fade-voter-minds Coleman wrote for the Huffington Post (Apr, 2009) that Justice worked as designed in the Duke Lacrosse Case - and it worked for the Players because they were White. When, in reality, they were persecuted because they were White (nice for Coleman to skip over that little nugget) and the Media wouldn't write and report the facts because of the Race of the accused and accuser. If that's not a skewing of the basic facts of this case, I don't know what is. From what I understand and the info I was given at Duke, Coleman supported the players to a degree until the criminal charges were dropped, then he went down the road of saying they were the wrong guys to be bringing lawsuits. A law Professor that believes Justice is Not (color) blind, No? Edited to add: Remember, this was in the backdrop of the Other Duke Rape Case - defendant Michael Burch. Duke's response was totally different, Durham's response was totally different. The media's coverage was totally different. . . Edited by Mason, Apr 7 2011, 11:06 PM.

You have to admit that another lawsuit is just what Brodhead needed. |

Phil (Our Editor) thought better than to post my Hag of the Hoax Contest Finale. That and the Durham "Nobody Awards" Festivities. Perhaps when the lawsuits are settled. One last jab! I can't help it , they are just such a group of cartoon characters. It is really the whacky world of Mahrud (Durham spelled backwards) |

Ah, The Hag of the Hoax...our "beauty pageant" Yes, someday the Finale must appear. There are a number of LS "outtakes" that, no kidding, still apply today. Phil and our other "co-workers"...what an amazing crew!

It's hard to believe that so many "hagsters" could be located in one place (outside of D.C. that is). Please don't wait to long for the replay as my eyes are growing dim with age waiting on justice to make her final curtain call. Joan, Sidney wants $1000.00 per month toward defending Nifong, not $100.00. Honestly, with the current Justice Dept., I am surprised Sidney was given the brush off. |

In that sense, Broadhead treats everyone the same. Anyone, regardless of race, color, wealth or whatever status who threatens to criticise Broadhead is treated as a grave threat. In that regard, he is very poorly suited to a profession that requires rigorous inquiry to find the truth, such as literary criticism. Walt-in-Durham |
