I agree. It's really hard writing a sequel to a national best seller.

Let me tell you something, pendejo.
Asked by the 911 Dispatcher to describe the stabber, the victim's nephew replied, "It's Crystal Mangum. THE Crystal Mangum. Told him she was trouble from the damn beginning. Fv<k!"

Heh!

Police charged Mangum with attempted murder, arson, and child abuse after a domestic dispute with Milton on February 18.

According to an arrest warrant, the 33-year-old scratched, punched and threw objects at Milton Walker before setting his clothes on fire in a bathtub. Arresting officers said Mangum threatened to stab Walker while they were at her home. They went there after one of her children called 911.

This was from the last incident. Wonder how she is going to explain her stabbing fetish this time around...
DUKE LACROSSE RAPE LIAR NABBED IN 'SLAY ATTEMPT'

The woman who infamously dragged three Duke University lacrosse players through the mud by falsely accusing them of raping her has been arrested for allegedly threatening to stab her boyfriend.

Crystal Mangum , 31, of North Carolina, was arrested by Durham cops late Wednesday for allegedly assaulting Milton Walker.

Police arrived in response to a 911 call - made by a girl who said she was Mangum 's 9-year-old daughter - and allegedly found the woman punching and scratching Walker.

"I'm going to stab you, [expletive]!" Mangum told him, WRAL-TV reported, citing police documents.

On Thursday, Crystal Gail Mangum landed back in the Durham County Jail for violating a release agreement stemming from an arrest earlier this year.

In February, Mangum was arrested for the assault and attempted murder of her boyfriend, Milton Walker, 33, among other charges.

According to police, Mangum set his clothes on fire, physically assaulted him, attempted to stab him, all in view of her three children, ages 3, 9 and 10. The 911 call was actually placed by one the children.

She initially gave the responding officers a false name, "Marella Mangum ," and allegedly fought with the officers.

EXCERPT

Officers testified Tuesday that they initially thought Mangum was the victim when they found her and her three children in the home at 2220 Lincoln St. just before midnight Feb. 17.

But when her then-boyfriend Milton Walker returned to the home shirtless, shoeless and shivering, with scratches on his arms and saying he had been waiting in the bushes for police to arrive, officers didn't know what to believe.

Officer Hilary Thompson testified that Mangum lunged over her shoulder, threatening to stab Walker, whom another officer had brought inside to warm up and give his side of the story. At that point, according to Thompson and her supervisor Corp. John Tyler, they arrested Mangum for communicating threats.

EXCERPT

Two Durham police officers have said they watched her carry armloads of clothing from her bedroom to the bathroom of her 600-square-foot duplex apartment. Police went to the home after Mangum 's 9-year-old daughter called 911 to report a fight between Mangum and her boyfriend, Milton Walker.

The officers discovered the fire while trying to arrest Mangum after she lunged over Officer Hilary Thompson's shoulder and threatened to stab Walker, according to testimony. Defense lawyer Mani Dexter says Mangum had no weapon and the threat was "empty."

EXCERPT

The defense rested Wednesday morning after calling its second witness. Family friend Peggy Kirkpatrick testified that she had told Mangum 's son to call 911 because she thought Mangum was in danger during a fight with Walker.

In a videotaped interrogation, Mangum admitted setting the clothes afire, damaging Walker's car and threatening to stab him - that last act prompting officers to arrest her while they were still investigating the others.

"Officer Hilary Thompson testified that Mangum lunged over her shoulder, threatening to stab Walker, whom another officer had brought inside to warm up and give his side of the story."

Who would be so brazen to do that -- threaten to stab someone while lunging
over a police officer's shoulder? to threaten to stab someone who was, at the time,
"shirtless, shoeless and shivering" -- what threat did he pose in that condition with
police officers present?

Who would be so brazen to start a fire in a house with police officers inside the house?

After all that, who would be so brazen to tell the same police officers "You need to leave"?

I remember reading that at the time and wondered how low is that, giving her sister's name.

Speaking of depositions....

It is going to be interesting to find out just who in the DPD & City of Durham knew of Crystal before March 13, 2006 and in what capacity? It is just so weird that this woman gets so many passes from so many people and it makes me so suspicious.

This arrest comes at a very bad time for the defendants in the lawsuits. Discovery could move quickly. I doubt Judge Beaty is in the mood for appeals and stalling.

As for writing a book I do have to say Crystal is still in the lead over Lubiano.

Seems Wilson was his mother's name (deceased), and siblings' names. AFAIK he goes by Reginald Eugene Daye.
