I think she gets a little more jail time.

Plus, I don't see how her kids can be left in her charge now.

Two questions are now pertinent.

1.) Can a Durham jury be empaneled that would actually convict Crystial of any crime?
2.) Does Tracy Cline really want a conviction, or is all this just for show anyway?
The most important questions remaining in this entire issue. Chances are Durham is totally incapable of both.

On WRAL just now. Time served. No additional jail time.

Deputies said Wagstaff and other Mangum supporters were disruptive throughout the two-week trial.

So why then on the last day of trial did they finally find the balls to speak up? Why were the other supporters not held in contempt. Merry Christmas, Ms. Wagstaff, hope that holiday jail food is to your liking.

Of course, we can't keep a "hooker" off the streets at Christmas can we?

The one thing I did get from the WRAL article is that she's not getting her kids back right away. She has to wait until the state decides if they will retry her on the Arson Charge. One of her supporters has posted on the WRAL site.

abb, this is just my opinion only.

Your first question.
Yes, I do believe there are 12 people who would convict. imo and observation of this jury from the start...they were going to be split.
I know most people think Durham is crazy. Not really-Durham is no different from many other cities in our great nation.

Your second question.
I don't think Cline has intervened in this case. It would be suicide for her.

Well, she'll be back, and at least she was in jail for 3 months.

Sooner or later they are going to figure out that Crystal is bad news.

Hopefully, it's before anyone gets hurt or killed.

Frankly, this might be too simplistic but I honestly think that the three who voted to acquit on the arson charge figure it's
one up on whitey.

I mean bad news for them. Crystal will turn on them because things are really not going her way. Nothing is going the way they told Crystal it would. She was convicted on most charges and nearly convicted on the felony charge. Crystal will soon entertain the thought that these handlers are losers, if she hasn't already. She is slowly, but surely, being boxed in, and the pressure is building.
