. Our observer didn't know the names of the people, but later ID'd Matherly and Wagstaff, who now has a different haircut. He said the exact same thing. Two jurors were smiling at their antics instead of looking at the witness giving testimony. Those same jurors did not return smiles from those on the Groom's side of the courtroom. Remember the Jurors walked the halls and passed very close to people. That courtroom is terrible for separating a Jury. . Edited by Mason, Dec 17 2010, 04:55 PM.

I noticed the eye contact yesterday too. Could be something as simple as the juror feeling a connection after seeing/hearing them in court all week long -- or not. |

Just FYI, the court reporter needed a break because it's hot in the courtroom. It's even hotter for her because she breathes through a mask. less than 20 seconds ago via TweetDeck |

LEO - no disrespect - I really don't wish harm on cats that people have as pets - but there are those of us who are dog people, those who are cat people, and those who are no pet people at all. |

Regarding that knock on the door — the jury has handed out another note. I think Jones has read it while an attorney in the civil case spoke half a minute ago via TweetDeck |

If form holds, Jones will send the civil attorneys away in a moment to deal with the Mangum jury. We’ll see. half a minute ago via TweetDeck One of the attorneys in the civil case, not related to Mangum’s prosecution, is still speaking now. less than 20 seconds ago via TweetDeck |
