Got it, kbp.

Does everyone remember how mobile a 3 or 4 year old is?

Crystal is out of her mind with rage, going in and out of the apartment - probably looking for Milton outside - and she sets this fire inside this one-story apartment. A fire with plenty of fuel, at least 3 loads (carrying loads) of clothes.

Just sayin'.

The Cops are there to arrest you, essentially, and you set a fire inside of the house.

Pretty Wanton.

Be careful, jmoo. There is a thug element in all of Crystal's friends and supporters.

Kbp,

And your devil argument, I disagree about Mommy being hurt. Rather, I think he told her as she busted his windshield, windows, and slashed his tires, if you do that (continue), I'm going to kill you.

The kids heard him yell and saw how angry he was. Mommy was going to get killed because of what she was doing.

Crystal was of out of her mind and thought Milton had called the Cops on her.

Has anyone seen Vince Clark, the world renown publicist for Crusty. I'm sure he is somewhere typing furiously on the next saga of discrimination against Crystal.

Lopes was often vocal about her personal life and difficult past. She readily admitted that she had come from an abusive, alcoholic background and struggled with alcohol problems herself. These problems became headline news in 1994, when she set fire to Andre Rison's tennis shoes in a bathtub, which ultimately spread to the mansion they shared, destroying it. Lopes claimed that Rison had beaten her after a night out, and she set fire to his shoes to get back at him.

Crystal was not the first to set fire to her boyfriend’s clothes in a bathtub. The act has become a popular topic in rap culture. While kpb speculates that a bathtub might be a safe place for an indoor fire, the National Fire Safety folks would take great umbrage with such reasoning. When combustible materials ignite in an enclosed space, no one is going to reach into the fire zone to turn on the water. I suspect closing the door and running would be the natural response.

Crystal removed any doubt as to her criminal intentions when she lit the fire and closed the door to conceal the crime. Unfortunately, domestic disputes occur every day. Most times, both parties walk away to argue another day. Occasionally, someone grabs a gun or a knife, and in the blink of an eye, the squabble becomes deadly. This situation was altogether different. The fight had ended and the parties separated; the fire was not a spontaneous act. Crystal acted with malice aforethought. She made numerous trips to the bathroom right in front of a police officer. When the critical moment arrived, she quickly ignited the garments and closed the bathroom door. She proceeded into the living room yelling and screaming at Milton in a theatrical gesture to call attention to herself, not to the fire.

Needless to say, kpb, I disagree with you.

Court brought into session. Judge says jury is still making progress and we'll give them time. He may also have said they're breaking at 1[p
