Leslie Bond was assigned to CM at 8:00 am the morning after. Bond went to CM house and no one was there.
A black car was setting in the driveway.
At this point Dexter objected because she had a issue with who or if Bond ran the license plate. The Judge sent a very disgusted looking jury out of the room.
Discussion about the license was overruled.
The black car belonging to CM boyfriend had, four flat tires and broken windows. Bond observed a vacuum cleaner on the ground close to the car. She picked it up and saw glass on the sides of the vacuum.

Folks, I am trying to catch up with my baking and decorating. I will post more in a few minutes. Please understand I do have other things -especially at this time of the year. I will do my best.

McCullough introduces exhibit # 16.

It's the video!

So Bond goes to meet CM (who is in jail.) on the 18th.
Someone brought CM to a room where she was interviewed by Bond. They gave her a coat and a drink.

Another objection by Dexter and jury is sent out again.
overruled again......jury comes back in and here we go off to the movie.

They left her in the room (with a guard outside) while waiting for Bond to get there. ( about 30 min)
The video was running. CM sets down at the table and lays her head on the table. She said, Oh, boy -I am tired. This was all we saw for a good while then they fast forwarded it.

Then Bond and another man came in. Bond started by telling CM who she was and why she was there. Bond states that...something seems completely off here and she doesn't think CM has had her say and she wants CM to have her say.

Ok, my peanut butter cookies are ready to come out of the oven. brb

The jury deciding the fate of former Duke Lacrosse accuser Crystal Mangum watched a video Tuesday of her interview with police made right after her arrest.

Mangum is charged with felony first-degree arson stemming from a domestic dispute with her boyfriend earlier this year.

Police say that in February, she punched and scratched her then-boyfriend Milton Walker, threatened to stab him, threw his clothes in a bath tub, and set them on fire. Mangum's three children were in the home at the time, and one of them called 911.

Mangum is also charged with three counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, injury to personal property and resisting a public officer.

In the video shown to jurors Tuesday, Mangum tells a police officer that her boyfriend repeatedly hit her in the face in front of her children ( the children were crying because they didn't want CM and Milton to break up, they wanted them to get married)who began to scream and cry.

During the emotional interview in which Mangum cries, she denies setting her boyfriend's clothes on fire and using a vacuum cleaner to damage his car windows. She later said she did these things. She thought she would get a better deal if she told the truth.

She told police her boyfriend suffers from schizophrenia ( and is crazy) and damaged his own car and possibly set his own clothes on fire inside a bathtub at the couple's apartment.( CM said, it was HER apartment in the video and the Milton lived there)

Also, she claims when police arrived, they threw her on the ground and accused her of resisting arrest before asking her any questions.

Police officers have already testified in the trial that Mangum was uncooperative and threatened her boyfriend in their presence.

Mangum - a former stripper - made national headlines in 2006 when she accused several Duke Lacrosse players of rape. The players were later exonerated and all charges against them dropped.

It can't be said enough:

Crystal admitted and confessed to smashing her boyfriend Milton Walker's windshield with a vacuum cleaner and setting his clothes on fire.

I will also add my impressions later this evening. Been a busy day for me. Some interesting stuff by the lady with the short hair who may have pissed off the jury AND the judge all while the ADA was tossing his hands in the air thinking why is this happening.. lol

Of course, her lawyer will point out that she initially denied it
(because she's a liar) and then probably say the police tricked
her into the confession.

If the Judge and Jury buy that, then you may as well throw out
most of convictions in this country. It's fairly typical for the perp
to initially deny that he/she committed the crime.

Haha -- that's excellent!

There was a translation into another language for a vacuum cleaner commercial that read:

"Nothing sucks like an electrolux."
