. What about Michelle Obama's $10 Billion for Fat kids? That number is outrageous times 100. These bills are not what they appear on their face. Look how many provisions that have been included in Obama bills that so many, including Congress, claim they don't who inserted that portion of the bill. . |

That is the question I have been asking, what happens next year? Things are not looking to good economically for quite some time. What happens next year if unemployment goes even higher, meaning less taxpayers. This is a one time shot in the arm for a one year vaccination, will the feds pay for the next vaccination as well? |

Aricle that made me think of Wimpy "...The U.S. Department of Agriculture reports that more than 40 million Americans currently use food stamps, a number they predict will increase by nearly three million within the next year. Some House Democrats have said they will seek a way to pass a House version with the food stamps funding in tact or try to reinstate it later. Michael Mershon, a spokesman for Massachusetts Democratic Rep. James McGovern, told the Hill the congressman is “considering legislation to restore the cuts while finding another offset.” PayGo solutions are like a problem you never have to worry about. When the food stamp crowd needs money in 2014, we pay for it with 2018 savings from food stamps. Figure that one out! (I had forgot to link the article, found it hanging around in my browser!) I may go out this week and see if I can buy a brand new 2011 Mustang Shelby 5.4L with 550hp. I always wanted a high performance car like the Mustang or Corvette, but won't buy a GM vehicle, since it is government owned. I will tell the dealer to put off all payments to August of 2014. I will by then be recieving my military reserve pension and close to collecting my social security. Therefore I can make double payments starting in 2014. If I happen to die before that August 2014 date, I won't really care because I don't really think I will need the car. I don't know if any Ford dealers, will make this deal, maybe GM will buy the idea, to boost their sales and it is government owned, they may be more understanding.

Riding a Tide of Red Ink By Ed Feulner Our federal government is on a spending spree unheard of since World War II, when Washington poured resources into a two-front battle the country couldn’t afford to lose. This year, the federal government is borrowing 41 cents out of every dollar it spends. Instead of saving up for future generations, we’re spending money our offspring haven’t earned yet, and leaving them with nothing but bills. Nobody knows how long this can go on. |

Government just keeps getting bigger and we just keep getting poorer. Gee, I wonder if there is any correlation? |

BTW Queen Nancy said today after the vote she doubts the food stamps cuts will happen and they will find another way to fund them. So we add another item to our list. Saying the money to fund "paygo" will come out of a future savings in 2014, but then saying immediately after passing the bill the savings won't happen! Feel better now? |

Government worker average almost double what the American worker makes. The reasoning is the government workers are more educated and do a better job. Where did this BS come from? |

As CNET reported, a watchdog Web site on Sunday evening noted that the Democrats’ $26-billion spending measure includes a few blank spaces. Congress’ official Web site calls it the ‘______Act of____,’ and the Library of Congress’ Thomas Web site displays it as the ‘XXXXXX Act of XXXX.’” “A nameless bill for a hopeless cause is a fitting metaphor for a Democratic Congress that refuses to listen to the American people and abandon its job-killing agenda,” said House Republican Leader John Boehner (Ohio). Boehner on Monday offered 10 possible names for what he called the “union-boss bailout” bill: -- Save Our ‘Stimulus’ (SOS) Act -- ‘Recovery Summer’ Bailout Act (Cash for Flunkers) -- Delivering Unions a Major Boost (DUMB) Act -- Helping Election Expenditures, Hurting American Workers (HEEHAW) Act -- Democracy is Strengthened by Clearly Leveraging and Optimizing Special-Interests’ Effectiveness (DISCLOSE) Act -- Holding Union Bosses Over Until Card Check Act -- Rescuing Incumbent Democrats Is Costly (RIDIC) Act -- Summertime Cash for Union Bosses Instead of Spending Cuts for Taxpayers Act -- Frivolous Act of Ineffective Largesse (FAIL) Act -- Naming These Things Hasn’t Gotten Us Anywhere, So Why Bother? Act Boehner says the Republican Party is listening to the American people and is “offering better solutions to make government more responsive and accountable to the people it serves.” Republicans specifically object to what they call “out of control government spending” that they say is boosting deficits and stifling job-creation..snipped http://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/70813 I like ‘Recovery Summer’ Bailout Act (Cash for Flunkers) |

The bill that was passed has strings attached. States accepting this money, will not be permitted to cut back on education expenses next year. Things are probably going to get worse next year, so how will the bailed out states pay next year? Will congress bail out these teacher unions next year too? |
