Reports are that the ethics committee is investigating just reprimanding Rangel. Don't you wish that if you decided not to declare all of your income all you got was a note from the government telling you that you had been a naughty boy and don't do it again? So much for cleaning the swamp. |

The House ethics investigatory subcommittee recommended that Rep. Charlie Rangel be reprimanded, which is the least severe punishment, according to a new report. The disclosure was made today by Rep. Gene Green (D-Texas), who is the panel's chairman..snipped http://www.nypost.com/p/news/local/ethics_committee_wants_rangel_reprimanded_9IZ3aIoioxN4S6pMfIsu5K DC is a cesspool, you can't drain it |

Sorry, but the good ole' Charlie should be in jail. He should be charged for tax evasion, renting 4 rent controled apartment in NYC and probably other criminal offenses. The ethics charges are bad enough, but some of the charges are criminal charges that should be referred to a state or federal prosecutor. This guy is a smug, member of the ruling class, that say do what I say not as I do, you could get into trouble if you do what I do. |

Next time a Republican gets in hot water all he has to do is say, "Charlie Rangel!" |

We should think of some place terrible to lock him up at until he dies. Stuck with those just as bad as he is - FOREVER - the rest of his life. Maybe Congress? |
