How much more do we need to prove that voter in some districts are plain and simple, uneducated sheep, being led by a crook. I believe Rangel could rob a bank there, pass out the money and still get re-elected. the voter would just say he was trying to enrich the community.

Not only that, he would be declared a saint. Rangel is a crook of the first order. The fact that he was a hero in the Korean War is beside the point. He has abused the public trust that was placed in him by his election(s) and has broken the very tax laws that he himself helped to formulate. Again, if you or I had failed to declare items on our income tax, had the opportunity and then did shelter income, solicit favors, use property that was for public housing as our offices, we would be living in a 6x9 space dressed in day-glo orange and shuffling around in our white socks/shower flipflops. |

. Rangel represents a poor area - yet he has approx $70 Grand to have a painting of himself commissioned? It's absurd. I also have a link that links Rangel's legal defense funds directly to Unions and Lobbyists, yet he got up there during his rant and spoke about how much he was paying for his defense. Rangel hasn't paid for anything in 40 years. . Edited by Mason, Aug 12 2010, 07:57 AM.
