It's a good thing it's 38 degrees here and not 30 degrees, because it is snowing very hard and has been for an hour or so... |

I don't see anything out my window as of yet here in Wake County. I bet that the stores are going crazy.

Snowing nicely here. Everything is well covered and the streets have that "slushy" look... |

Listening to the police scanner. They are getting the 4X4 vehicles ready to answer calls and apparently will begin using them soon. |

Lots of vehicles in trouble, apparently. Stuck, slid off the road, ec. Looking out the window here though, the roads do not appear to be bad, except for slush. |

You notice NC does talk about drought much anymore! It really must bum out those Marxists in Durham. However they still have restrictions on when you can water your lawn. Durham's Year-Round Irrigation Schedule is in effect. •Odd-numbered addresses may water once on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays either before 10 a.m. or after 6 p.m. •Even-numbered addresses may water once on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays either before 10 a.m. or after 6 p.m. •No watering may occur between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on allowed watering days. •No customers are permitted to water on Mondays. http://www.ci.durham.nc.us/departments/wm/water_update.cfm BTW all the reservoirs are filled to the brim but no roll back in water rates which were so needed for the drought |

Where I live they said that we wouldn't get anything sticking to the roads, as it would be too warm. The Roads have disappeared and there's as much on the road right now as on the grass. It is still coming down hard too. . |

Power has been going out a lot for some reason. It was just out again for a couple minutes. Strange for only a few inches of snow. |
