Farrakhan predicts continued trouble for Obama

(AP) – 1 hour ago

CHICAGO — Nation of Islam Minister Louis Farrakhan claims the "white right"
is trying to make Barack Obama a one-term president.

The 76-year-old says the stalling of health care legislation is proof.

Farrakhan is addressing followers of the Chicago-based movement that has embraced black nationalism since its founding. Sunday's keynote speech is before an estimated 20,000 people on the last day of the group's Saviours Day convention.

Farrakhan has vigorously supported Obama. Even so, Obama distanced himself from Farrakhan before his election because of Farrakhan's past statements that were considered anti-Semitic.

During the hourslong speech, Farrakhan boasted of being bigger than a prophet.

Farrakhan uses Chile quake to warn America

February 28, 2010 5:15 PM

Calling this weekend's earthquake in Chile a precursor to his message, Nation of Islam leader Minister Louis Farrakhan today said America can not avoid the disaster and destruction that is in store.

Delivering an address titled. "The Time and What Must Be Done," Farrkhan addressed thousands at Chicago's United Center to mark the movement's Saviours' Day, commemorating the birth of W. Fard Muhammad-the founder of the faith 80 years ago.

"It's not an accident that a great earthquake took place in Chile," he said an hour into this speech. "It was a precipitate of what I have to tell you today of what's coming to America. You will not escape."

Farrakhan's remarks in the past have drawn criticism as anti-Semitic and racist. His supporters say he is misunderstood. In his speech on Sunday, he recounted events in the 1980s where he was barred from hotels and other destinations after defending controversial remarks by Democratic presidential candidate Jesse Jackson and standing up for Libya, implicated at the time in acts of state-sponsored terrorism.

He also contrasted the way the respectful and reverential way he was treated in Libya and other countries with how he is treated in the U.S.

"I can't even get a meeting with a congressperson if a white man's watching," he said to thunderous applause.

The keynote address capped a weekend of workshops focused on self-improvement and community service.

"I intend in my Saviours' Day address to provide divine warning and guidance from Honorable Elijah Muhammad to the black community to the American people and to our brother, President Barack Obama," Farrakhan said in a prepared statement. "It is critical that everyone understand the time in which we live so that we can in the manner that could save our lives."

Strange, he wants Government HealthCare, but claims the Gov't H1N1 shots are a way to kill people and control the population!

"Louis Farrakhan also participated, claiming that the H1N1 vaccine was some sort of population control measure, saying that the goal was to

“Kill as many as you can. We have to develop a science that kills them and makes it look as though they died from some disease.”
