Mikulski is a real hardcore idealogue. I'll wait and see, but it seems like she would be one of the last out the door. Rabid, hardcore, and strident. . |

I always liked Mikulski - in fact, I voted for her when I lived in Maryland - I do not agree with a number of her views but I do think that she was honest, came to her views with a firm conviction, and represented the interests of her state fairly. Mikulski was not in Congress for her own personal gratification.

Anyone want to venture a guess why so many Dems are leaving? My guess is that they are absolutely fed up to the vomit point with Pelosi and Reid's threats. |

I'm more inclined to believe they've had it with threats and harangues from the Chicago thugocracy in the White House. Those folks are SCARY. Whatever it is, I'm happy. May their numbers increase--or decrease. |

. That's what Hannity said on his radio show. He said he was getting off the record reports that some felt like they couldn't oppose Obama and the DEM leadership. There would be hell to pay if they did, he said. . |

http://althouse.blogspot.com/2010/02/im-doing-fairly-well-for-grandmother.html Then again, you have citizens like Anne Lamott who write for the LA Times...and who remain inscrutable as to why they think like they do.
Lamott's strange article: http://www.latimes.com/news/opinion/la-oe-lamott14-2010feb14,0,1932729.story?track=rss |

I dont think these democrats want to be in office when the dear one attempts to take over the country or when impeachment pops its ugly head. Many of them are saying that they wont run again in the next election They are not saying they will never run again. |

BHO may actually be glad that these "weak-kneed ones" are leaving. Is it possible he will replace them with WORSE than them? By "facilitating" appointments? |

And 86 year old NJ Lautenberg fell down the steps and was taken to the hospital. |

You are tight - that is one strange article. Perhaps when that monkey jangled with her dreadlocks it scrambled some of her brains as well. |
