If this had happened under Bush, the Media would be on fire, the topic of discussion would be about the legality of people stealing food to live, etc. 73 year old with NO Prior Criminal record robs banks and requests $600.00 - to pay his MORTGAGE! This guy should be nicknamed - the Obama Bandit! Robbing banks to pay mortgage Tampa, Florida - Looking more like a grandpa than a wanted bank robber, 73-year-old James Bruce toddled front and center at Orient Road Jail. Bruce was arrested on Thursday after detectives said he was robbing banks to pay his mortgage. According to a criminal report, Bruce walked into three different banks in south Tampa. Each time, investigators allege, he would request $600 in $100-dollar bills then pass a handwritten note to the teller, "No alarms and wait 4 minutes." After the arrest, police confirmed that Bruce admitted to the robberies post-miranda. Judge Walter Heinrich, citing the fact that Bruce carried no weapon into the banks and did not have a prior record, set bond at $22,000. Heinrich ordered Bruce to stay out of the Suntrust and two Bank of America locations, the banks that he is accused of robbing. http://www.wtsp.com/news/local/story.aspx?storyid=125123&catid=8 . |

Obama told a story this past week with a few truths missing. It was about a woman who he said wanted to be buried in an Obama T-shirt. She had worked in her state for his campaign, developed breast cancer, had no insurance, etc. The truth is she did have insurance which I believe had a relatively high deductible. Obama will now be telling stories about how sorry the banks are that it forces robberies so that people can afford their mortgages. We use to call people like this robber stupid, now they are the heros of the Obama Administration. |

The media used to take little personal stories and blow them up and portray the society at large in the fashion they wished. I can remember the talking heads speaking in pained tones about how many people can't wait any longer for the economy to improve, etc - and they were the good old days compared to this. Now, they choose to not focus on the individual stories of pain because they simply do not serve their purpose. . |
