Snow load! Some may recall I'd emailed the city dept. in charge of the "zero energy" housing they spent government funds (Boulder, CO.) on to ask what the "snow load" rating was on the flat roofs there. That snow can get heavy, especially when the drainage system freezes up and traps water weight most often resulting from the melt of the buildings temperature. The building damage is minor compared to that of the contents LTC has shared information on here! Edited by kbp, Feb 11 2010, 11:46 AM.
