Ohmigod, I just thought of something. Those children of his by Elizabeth. Just think what they're enduring now. They're watching their mother die of cancer - while their father horn dogs with a whore who believes their illegitimate half-sister is the 'successor to Buddha'. I wouldn't be those wretched children right now for anything. Oh, my heart goes out to them. Two self-centered lunatics for parents and the entire world sees that lunacy and knows they're those children's parents? Oh, poor them. Poor poor them. No amount of money will ever compensate for what they must be going through. Edited by Carolyn says, Feb 10 2010, 09:57 PM.

Wonder if EE will sue Rielle for alienation of affection. Apparently she's threatening to sue Andrew Young. HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. -- A former aide to John Edwards says the two-time presidential candidate's wife has threatened to sue him for contributing to the downfall of their marriage. Andrew Young said Wednesday that Elizabeth Edwards has threatened an "alienation of affection" lawsuit. Young said he had anticipated that the Edwards family would come after him following his book about the candidate's affair. Young also turned over to a judge Wednesday a now infamous sex tape that purportedly shows John Edwards in a sexual encounter with mistress Rielle Hunter. He then faced tough questions from Hunter's attorneys who were frustrated with his changing story about where the tapes had been kept. North Carolina is among about a half-dozen states that allows a person to sue a third party for contributing to the breakup of a marriage. Jilted spouses typically use the remedy to seek money from their partner's lover. "We have some very powerful people coming after us," Young said. "Are we scared? Absolutely." A spokeswoman and an attorney for Elizabeth Edwards declined to comment. Young said he's going to fight to prove that he and his family are not liars. Young initially claimed to be the father of Hunter's child and helped hide her from media and Elizabeth Edwards during the 2008 White House campaign. He detailed in his book the rise and fall of his former boss and the lengths Edwards went to to hide his affair and the child he had with Hunter. Young said he found the sex tape in a home he rented for Hunter and that he kept it to corroborate his story. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/02/10/andrew-young-elizabeth-edwards-threatening-alienation-affection-lawsuit/?test=latestnews |

Can't these bozos learn that during a marital blow up there are two things you don't do..1. refer to your mistress a your "soul mate"...and 2. Ask her to marry you. |

Alienation of affection is probably a very difficult thing to prove. You would first have to prove that John Edwards ever really loved Elizabeth. EE is probably trying to shut down the television interviews, book tours, etc., but the cat is out of the bag. She would be stupid to waste her money on this one. |

And besides their tryst and baby, what do JE and Rielle have in common? An island is a very small place to be stuck with somebody you don't really know... and how could those two REALLY know each other. Bed tumbles might be fun, but really now, all day long on an island that even your best friends likely won't visit? Sound like eventual boredom to me. BTW: What would be the source of continuing wealth for JE? He's not working. How long can his reserve last? Can anybody really see Rielle married to an old broke man? JE is being TOOOOKKKKK. Wah. |

John and Elizabeth Edwards already have a house on Bald Head Island. It's probably not a big enough island for the three of them. (oops. His other house is on Figure 8 Island. Sorry for the mistake.) Edited by Rusty Dog, Feb 11 2010, 11:04 PM.

I too have been wondering where the money to support him, Rielle, and EE is coming from. Is Bunny Mellon still bankrolling the operation? |

Oh my God, you guys have GOT to click on the link Concerned provided up above and check out the hilarious 'comments' on Edwards' house. They are hysterical. And they're from people who actually live in the same neighborhood as him. Trust me, there is NO love lost between them and Edwards. (And their comments on that fugly house Edwards bought is equally hysterical. My favorite is - "In an artistic sense, I think "bastard child" when I look at that house." I thought the place looked like a small apartment building. I see comments there showing a few saw what I saw. |
