And, again, one of Obama's first public statements about the Fort Hood terrorist incident was to tell the American public "not to jump to conclusions" And, yet, during a press conference about other pressing issues, Obama took the time to address the arrest of a black Harvard professor, in which no one got hurt let alone killed, the first thing Obama said was that black men are arrested disportionately more than white men in this country. "That's a fact", he said. Obama made the incident a racist event with his first words about it, even while admitting he did not know very much about what had happened! And with Hasan he tells us "not to jump to conclusions" -- when the guy shouted out Allah is great before shooting close to 40 people? Edited by MikeZPU, Nov 7 2009, 10:04 AM.

At least he didn't come out and apologize immediately to the world. But give him a chance and a few months somehow he will express the intolerance and antagonism the US created in the Muslim world was a contributor to this shooting. His minions are already pushing covertly this on CNN & MSNBC. I long for the days of righteous indignation in our President. Who knows, it might take a woman? Draw your own conclusion? What is a personality disorder? [from Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 4th edition, 1994, commonly referred to as DSM-IV, of the American Psychiatric Association. European countries use the diagnostic criteria of the World Health Organization.] http://www.halcyon.com/jmashmun/npd/dsm-iv.html 7. Lacks empathy Translation: They are unwilling to recognize or sympathize with other people's feelings and needs. They "tune out" when other people want to talk about their own problems. In clinical terms, empathy is the ability to recognize and interpret other people's emotions. Lack of empathy may take two different directions: (a) accurate interpretation of others' emotions with no concern for others' distress, which is characteristic of psychopaths; and (b) the inability to recognize and accurately interpret other people's emotions, which is the NPD style. This second form of defective empathy may (rarely) go so far as alexithymia, or no words for emotions, and is found with psychosomatic illnesses, i.e., medical conditions in which emotion is experienced somatically rather than psychically. People with personality disorders don't have the normal body-ego identification and regard their bodies only instrumentally, i.e., as tools to use to get what they want, or, in bad states, as torture chambers that inflict on them meaningless suffering. Self-described narcissists who've written to me say that they are aware that their feelings are different from other people's, mostly that they feel less, both in strength and variety (and which the narcissists interpret as evidence of their own superiority); some narcissists report "numbness" and the inability to perceive meaning in other people's emotions. |

I can't find the quote (perhaps in one of his books written by Bill Ayers), but I recall he stated quite clearly that when/if the time came he would stand with the Arabs (Muslims, Islam, whatever). This may be the only promise he ever keeps. |

BAldo... I am inspired by that excerpt from the Army Manual of Leadership. Is is possible for a non-military person like myself to obtain a copy of that? I don't think I have seen a better, more succinct description of the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of a leader. By contrast... I think we are all grieved as we observe that our President exhibits NONE of these qualities. When the "led" show more wisdom and humanity than the "leaders" it is just a matter of time until the system must be overturned. |

Thanks Longstop. That was it. At the suggestion of Wiki I read it again in "context" and I stick by my interpretation. . . He's sticking with them, not us. |

UK Telegraphs take on Mr Cooooool ! http://www.telegraph.co.uk/comment/6520286/Bloodless-President-Barack-Obama-makes-Americans-wistful-for-George-W-Bush.html snip When the television networks cut to the President, viewers listened to him spend more than two surreal minutes talking to a gathering of Native Americans about their "extraordinary" and "extremely productive" conference, pausing to give a cheery "shout out" to a man named Dr Joe Medicine Crow. Only then did he briefly and mechanically address what had happened in Texas. snip It could do him good to show he has a bit of fire in his belly. Perhaps he might make a decision or two based on gut instinct and deep conviction. In other words, maybe he should try being a bit more like Mr Bush. Edited by longstop, Nov 7 2009, 10:22 PM.

It angers me to Hell that the Boston Globe is only NOW opening its eyes to the fact that Obama is a cold-blooded narcissist who doesn't connect humanly with others. But the thing that enrages me most is that the Globe needed 13 dead soldiers and 30 more wounded before it finally opened its eyes. For God's sake, why did it have to take that hellish carnage to do that? Why couldn't they have seen the proof which was out there in plain sight all last year? For God's sake, Obama smeared his own grandmother as a racist - while she lay dying in a hospital in Hawaii. He tossed his 'uncle' Rev. Wright under the bus with just a flick of the wrist. He refused to condemn a mentor who was an unrepentant terrorist whining about not killing 'enough' American soldiers. He supported a wife who was 'never proud to be an American'. He accepted bribes from the most notorious slumlord in Chicago. Were these the acts of a warm, caring person, a patriot? No. For God's sake, it was out there in plain view for the whole world to see exactly what kind of person Obama was - and wasn't. But only NOW the Globe sees it? Damn you, Boston Globe - it's one year and 4 days too late - and 4 trillion dollars too short to say 'jeez, I guess we were wrong'. I feel no sympathy for you now. I'm saving it for those wretched dead and wounded at Fort Hood. And for the ones to come. Trust me, with a corrupt narcissist as President, the other victims will come. London Times has got the measure of the insensitive ONE ! http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/us_and_americas/article6908849.ece President Obama came in for growing criticism over the weekend for his “insensitive” handling of the bloody shoot-out in Fort Hood, Texas, where 13 people were killed by a Muslim officer in the US Army. snip The President’s jarring absence from Fort Hood — in contrast to a low-key visit by the former president George Bush on Friday — is not the only element of his response to the tragedy that is bothering his critics, Democrats and Republicans alike. snip |

I read that the White House isn't going to have a "Christmas Tree" this year. Instead they are going to have a "Holiday Tree." Now how messed up is this? 0bama is killing everything good about this country. If he doesn't like us why doesn't he just get up and leave?
