Let me tell you something, pendejo.
Gee, I went to post this:

This cop reminds me of Reade Seligmann. Well, Reade Seligmann had he been seen drinking with the alleged victim all evening and arrested less than 48 hours later with a trunk-load of deviant sex toys. Like Reade, Officer Simmons has every right to be proven innocent in a court of law. Just ask Dick.

and, on clicking "Save", was met by this pop-up notification:

The Chronicle

Site off-line
Site is offline for maintenance we should be back up in about 10 minutes, sorry for the inconvenience

Hmmmmm, I wonder what the "Comments" section attending this important article will look like once they go back up.

The chatter is getting to them, lol!

Three Cheers for our Locomotive Breath! :toast: :toast: :toast:

Coach Pressler was summarily fired for an offense of which he himself was not accused at an event at which he was not in attendance simply because he was presumed to have 24/7 supervisory authority over the individuals who were accused. What about it Dick Brodhead? Seems to me you need to fire the Chief of the Duke PD for not knowing what one of his officers was up to in his spare time. If he didn't do what he was accused of, whatever he did was bad enough. Surely handcuffing and gagging people, even if they volunteer for it, trumps hiring a stripper and a little undergraduate drinking?
That's great stuff -- pure poetry! LB is spot on!

It seems to me that the poster (at the Chronicle) who calls himself "the truth" can't handle the truth.
Well thanks.

I responded to "the truth" but the Chronicle deleted my subsequent comment "That dead horse is about ready to kick Duke's ass."

He is on a roll Folks! :har:

In the shuffling madness
Of the locomotive breath,
Runs the all-time loser,
Headlong to his death.
He feels the piston scraping --
Steam breaking on his brow --
Old Charlie stole the handle and
The train won't stop going --
No way to slow down.
He sees his children jumping off
At the stations -- one by one.
His woman and his best friend --
In bed and having fun.
He's crawling down the corridor
On his hands and knees --
Old Charlie stole the handle and
The train won't stop going --
No way to slow down.
