Sorry LP, Rush didn't mention a theory, he, like most, just want to see a valid Birth Certificate. I needed one to join the US Marines.

Us law would apply to his citizenship not Indonesian law. Do you really think any country requires children to renounce citizenship in order to attend school? As to the others I think they would have shown Obama to be more radical than he presented himself. The media showed very little curiosity about them.
Yes, I do think some countries might require that. Many countries do not allow dual citizenship.

He is more radical than he showed himself during the campaign, that's been clear since January. The MSM and the newspapers - they are useless - IMO They investigate whatever supports their current metanarrative. That they didn't show interest is meaningless.

You've got to be kidding. I have a copy of mine and I"ve used it once in 25 years (to get a passport). What possible need for youth sports does a birth certificate fill?

You obviously don't have younger children. It's the rule. They want to ensure everyone is playing fairly and not stacking the teams with older kids. Didn't you play Little League?

I don't think Rush even cares if 0bama has to show a BC. This is just a way for him to piss off 0bama supporters and the media. Every time he mentions it their blood pressure probably goes through the roof. Yet other than once they haven't really made a issue of it. Why is that? Because they don't want to make this a bigger issue.

I was required to show the same for my boys in sports. It is required to make sure that age requirements are strictly followed. Can't have ringers on the team! They frown on having a 12 year old pretend to be a 9 year old.

I can't remember if we had to show a BC or not when I was a kid. I do remember for football there was a weight requirement. One kid I know put rocks or some kind of weights in his pocket so he would weigh more. I am not kidding.

I had to show my Birth Certificate for Little league. My parents couldn't find it and we went to get a replacement - they gave us a Certificate of Live Birth as the proof.

Little league was many years ago, of course.

I don't have young children. Little league sports are far enough in my rear view mirror that I wouldn't recall if my parents had to do the same. I'm sure the concern about coaches and parents trying to stack the deck is real. Never stopped to think about that.

Fair enough. Just tried to answer your question.
