How does this happen? When May had 347K lost jobs the unemployment rate went from 8.9% to 9.4%. This month 476K lost jobs and the rate only goes from 9.5 to 9.5 percent.

Can you say "Cooking the books"?

If the true statistics came out--it wouldn't be hard for the sheeple to figure out just what Obama's leadership is doing to us--therfore, the truth will not be forthcoming.

Some people stopped looking for work. All the govt. jobs were added.

I know people recently unemployed that have good resumes - and who tell me they don't have good prospects.

I know many people that are barely getting by and think they will lose their homes if the purposeful inflation of energy prices goes through.

This economic time is getting scary.

Well I am retired and I am very worried about the cost of energy. So the Obama administration is more concerned about carbon the people? Then again we are saving the planet, but not the inhabitants of it.

To me energy is the most important issue of them all. Higher energy prices effect everything. The 0bama administration isn't doing anything to lower the price of energy and is putting off doing stuff that we should be doing now and will take years to get up and running like new nuclear power plants.

Not so far fetched as one would think.

It's called medical rationing. The quickest way to lower medical costs is to slowly deny care to those over 65, the age medicare starts. Waiting list for hip replacements, cancer is too far spread, you're overweight, don't burden your children, etc.

In the new Cap & Tax did you know all houses will have to be brought up to code before selling? All states who received federal money will have to adopt Federal Green Energy Codes,

Whose code? California.

Any new commercial buildings will need electric outlets for those new electric autos.

It goes on and on.

If someone was out to destroy our economy they have found the way! It's going to get wild.

Well, it's all in what you call it...

That $1,000 fine for not buying insurance is not a fine, it's a "shared responsibility payment"...

Shared responsibility...socialism...

I suspect a lot of folk are coming to realize the country elected a real CHANCER ! :ears:

The Empirical President

In reality, far from standing for empiricism, President Obama much more often fronts for a rigid ideology. He is new and fresh. The ideas he champions not only fail as an empirical matter, they fail even to pass the test of common sense.[/big]
