I think Chatham's suggestion is excellent......doubt anyone bothers to look at comments on the other site....... I feel nearly certain that LuMaye will address this when he returns...... I remember from the program the other day that Rick and his wife kept saying, as they came back from the umpteen commercials and station news, that VP represented a group in Durham who was supporting Mike Nifong. Maybe that's why they let her come on....in their minds she was an "official representative".

Could it be that Victoria has a problem with the Bar because her ass was thrown out for threatening harassment and barred for the remainder of the proceedings? Maybe listeners should have been told about that! Obviously, Victoria Peterson viewed CGM as her "victim." Nifong viewed CGM as his "victim." Tara viewed CGM as her "victim." Many others too -- there just wasn't enough victimization to go around. (It's hard to divide zero evenly.) The one exception: Brodhead viewed himself as his own "victim" and wallowed in self-pity. I can't believe he would condone this type attitude exhibited by Phil Zachary in an email response to a concerned "citizen" or "listener". I am waiting to see what Bill LuMaye says on Monday, if he is back on the air after his vacation or trip or wherever he was last week. If Bill doesn't let callers in to complain about the program last Thursday, then I think we can let lots of emails fly! Hope someone out there is tuned in, as I have to make a trip to the airport to pick up a relative, and will be out-of-touch with his program part of the time. (My passenger will not appreciate me having the program on as we return from the airport.)

If you mean by story, "lies" well I can understand that she did in fact enhance a number of lies. I would love to see the AG threaten her for suggesting that he was bribed into declaring the boys innocent by people "up north" no less.

If they do- you can forget saying anything about Friday's show. imo One small correction...the show was on Thursday....another guest host was doing the show Friday...and he was all consumed with Sarah Palin..... I wouldn't be surprised if Bill is not told about the show and the reaction.....and he may well say something about it...... If he does, then as callers, I think you could get in. You can also email Bill.....I have done it a few times while the show is on the air......he checks his email during commercials and station breaks...(of which there are MANY ) I may email him before I leave for the airport..... The station's call numbers are WPTF AM -680 on the dial.......go to the web site WPTF.com and I think there is a place where you get live streaming? (I 've never tried that.....just have the radio on near my desk..)

They've shelved me three times when Ruth Sheehan was on and they said they wanted calls. I was left on-hold until the program was over. People dialing in well after me got on. One time, I was the first caller and left shelved the entire show. They control the conversation. Usually they'll tell you, well we're talking about Gov. Easley today or whatever the selected subject is for the hour. As to JMOO's statements, does ANYONE believe they know that VP was thrown out of the Bar proceedings and barred? They know very, very few of the facts in the case. .

Actually, this is not the correct number....I have copied and pasted from the website: Bill LuMaye: 919-860-WPTF (9783) or 1-800-662-7979 It is a 3 hour program.......and he will usually announce at the beginning of the show what his topics are and who his guests will be, if any. The focus around the show lately has been former (yea!) Gov. Easley's problems, the budget goings-on at the Legislature, and the national scene. He likes to have a Dec. spokesman on each week who seems to spout the party line....lies and all......and also a Rep. spokesman.....not on the same day and same time, I don't think. With Palin all over the news and MJ's funeral....I'll bet that's what Bill will dwell on the beginning of the week. I have another suggestion which I'll post separately.
