Boehner is giving them hell. He was suppose to close with a 5 minute talk and it has been goingon for about an hour now. Waxman cuts in for procedural reasons and asks the chair if he will be talking all night. She just said it is the history of the house to listen to the leader until he is done. she stated that twice. Boehner is going over a 300 page amendment that was such in at 3:09 this morning just about page by page. Should take a while. The amendment is scary in itself if passed. Keep calling and tell your friends to call or e-mail. Defeat is critical. ETA: its on cspan Edited by chatham, Jun 26 2009, 05:07 PM.

. They got a Kennedy out of Rehab to vote! You know this is serious. Patrick Kennedy leaves treatment for a House vote 5:35 PM Fri, Jun 26, 2009 Peter Phipps WASHINGTON _ Rep. Patrick J. Kennedy cut short his stay at a treatment facility Friday to answer a call from House Democratic leadership that he appear to vote on a crucial energy bill that is likely to be decided by a close margin. Kerrie Bennett, Kennedy's spokeswoman, said the Rhode Island congressman intends to return directly to the medical facility, the location of which Kennedy has not disclosed. Kennedy, a recovering alcoholic and drug addict who also suffers from bipolar disorder, checked himself into the facility more than two weeks ago. Bennett said he continued to hope for a return to full-time work in Washington before the Congress adjourns for its August recess. http://newsblog.projo.com/2009/06/patrick-kennedy-2.html . |

I'm watching Boehner on C-Span right now go through the 300 plus page amendment. All sorts of programs that do not have money appropriated for. Turning back and forth to Fox which is not covering this, nor is MSNBC or CNN at least the times I tuned in to those stations. |

Who wins? GE Energy Financial Services and the AES Corporation formed Greenhouse Gas Services, LLC, a venture that invests in and develops projects that reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and sells independently verified GHG credits to businesses that want to meet internal emissions reduction targets or to offset emissions from consumer products and services. These projects prevent or reduce greenhouse gases that would otherwise escape into the atmosphere, or reduce fossil fuel consumption through energy efficiency and renewable energy generation. For each metric ton of CO2 equivalent reduced or avoided, a certified credit is created. http://ge.ecomagination.com/products/ghg-services.html GE who owns NBC, MSNBC, and CNBC. They along with Goldman Sacks stands to be a huge broker of Greenhouse Gas Credits. You are watching Thievery right under your eyes. Al Gore may become the first GreenHouse Billionaire with his investments. The fight moves to the Senate! |
