. Wasn't he just equally sure and confident about his Stimulus plan and unemployment? How'd that work out? . |

You are right, I have never seen a government agency save money. His proposals on health care are absolutely foreign to the government. When he started talking about cost and people taking care of themselves, I thought, he is going to regulate, what you eat. His health care plan is going to cost us our freedom of choice. |

We need Health reform, but we don't need these fools in DC. What have they done to earn any respect? Blow Trillions on bills they never read! They will decide my Health-care? |

Finally the truth: "Dr. Orrin Devinsky, a neurologist and researcher at the New York University Langone Medical Center, said that elites often propose health care solutions that limit options for the general public, secure in the knowledge that if they or their loves ones get sick, they will be able to afford the best care available, even if it's not provided by insurance. Devinsky asked the president pointedly if he would be willing to promise that he wouldn't seek such extraordinary help for his wife or daughters if they became sick and the public plan he's proposing limited the tests or treatment they can get. The president refused to make such a pledge, though he allowed that if "it's my family member, if it's my wife, if it's my children, if it's my grandmother, I always want them to get the very best care. http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/HealthCare/story?id=7919991&page=1 |

The Thrill is gone? The tingle is dying? Over exposure is my bet. ABC's White House special struggled for viewers President Obama's town hall meeting on health care delivered a sickly rating Wednesday evening. The one-hour ABC News special "Primetime: Questions for the President: Prescription for America" (4.7 million viewers, 1.1 preliminary adults 18-49 rating) had the fewest viewers in the 10 p.m. hour. The special tied some 8 p.m. comedy repeats as the lowest-rated program on a major broadcast network. The special was shot at the White House and featured the president answering questions about his health care plan. The president's primary message was that those who like their current insurance will be able to keep it and that taking no action will result in higher health care costs. The special drew fire from Republican leadership after refusing to allow an official opposition response, or even a paid ad. ABC also interviewed Obama on "Good Morning America" to help promote the special. http://www.thrfeed.com/2009/06/abcs-white-house-special-struggled-for-viewers.html congrats to the programmer geniuses at ABC. When will the networks realize they are losing? Edited by Baldo, Jun 25 2009, 11:55 AM.

Warning for any one who wants Statist Controlled Health Care. Britain's cancer shame as 15,000 elderly patients could be saved every year http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-1195386/Britains-cancer-shame-15-000-elderly-patients-saved-year.html UP to 15,000 Britons aged over 75 are dying needlessly from cancer each year, claim researchers. Their lives could be prolonged if UK cancer survival rates matched the best in Europe and the US, it is claimed. A new study is the latest to expose the gap between survival rates in Britain and other developed countries despite huge increases in NHS funding. snip |
