When you read the posts and see the photos you understand the tragedy and the senselessness of his murder. When Eve was murdered I found this poem and posted it on the blog What is lovely never dies, But passes into other loveliness, Star-dust, or sea-foam, flower or winged air. Thomas Bailey Aldrich It applies to Abhijit |

Thank you. Abhijit Mahato IS a man of whom Duke should be proud. The Aldrich poem does cover both Abhijit and Eve. Thanks, Baldo and TS. |

Let's be honest. When people threatened to kill Reade Seligmann, not one official person at Duke University raised even the slightest protest. Did Brodhead and Steel even care? Who knows, as they sure as heck did not tell anyone that this was wrong. So, I have no idea how the people at Duke feel about the murder of one of their students. It seems to me that they are more interested in the PR effect than anything else.
