When gottlieb claimed he found out about the incident he said he was at city hall. So, others at city hall knew about the event sooner than gottlieb, or they all learned about it at the same time.....right!!!!. (although I still contend that gottlieb may have learned much sooner listening to a police scanner or getting a phone call just about when it was happening) Gottliebs timeline to city council starts out with a 911 call complaining of noise in that area. If one can believe the time line he submits that was at 10:48 pm on the 13th. One half hour later a cop or cops were dispatched and 5 minutes after than they arrived in the area. That would be 11:23. They obviously found no noise in that area. Everything must have been real quiet about the time the strippers were gonna arrive? But more importantly, could someone have called gottlieb saying that they still were getting complaints from a Duke house or a house in his previous territory? Cops would talk about stuff like this back and forth. Gottlieb only left that territory 2 weeks or so before. Maybe gottlieb asked some of his friends to let him know when something was going on. Maybe that is when he went to city hall to find out what happened. They would know for sure. That is when he found out it was a rape allegation not believed. He had to find a way to get on THAT case. He did.
