It can be demonstrably proven that Meehan lied multiple times on the witness stand, both on Dec. 15 and during Bar Trial Testimony. IIRC, Meehan testified that he thought Crystal's johns' DNA was "not probative". Which leads me to suspect that the Chief of Police or some other Durham official had DNA hanging in the Louvre. Meehan also made the gratuitous, misleading and damnable statement explaining away the lack of DLax DNA by using the metaphor about bank robbers not leaving fingerprints.
