TSN. Kendall Hunter Womens Jersey .ca NFL Editor Justin Boone runs down the top waiver wire pickups with a focus on the coming week and the rest of the season.QUARTERBACKS Carson Palmer (vs. Saints)Palmer may not be the player he once was, but he still has the ability to be a dangerous fantasy spot start. In the last two weeks, Palmer has thrown for 782 yards with six touchdowns. Palmer has eclipsed 350 yards four times this season and will be poised to do it again against the Saints next week. New Orleans may be playing better recently, but their secondary can still be taken advantage of and Palmer should find himself in another shootout. Sam Bradford (vs. Jets)Even without deep threat Chris Givens, Bradford posted a respectable stat line in a rare tie with the 49ers. The Rams QB threw for 275 yards and two touchdowns, with no interceptions, as he benefited from the return of wide receiver Danny Amendola. With Givens likely to step back into the lineup next week, Bradford will have a full arsenal against the Jets. Others to consider - Ryan Fitzpatrick (vs. Dolphins), Nick Foles (at Redskins) RUNNING BACKS Chris Ivory (at Raiders)Inactive for most of the season, Ivory was finally promoted to the active roster two weeks ago. Helping to fill the void left by Darren Sproles, Ivory has shown game-breaking skills rattling off long runs, including a 56-yard score this week. The Saints have plenty of talent in their backfield with Pierre Thomas, Mark Ingram and Ivory, but the latter is making it hard for the team to keep him off the field. James Starks (at Lions)Depending what you are looking for in a waiver wire running back, Starks could be a sneaky solution to your woes at RB2 or flex. Starks ceiling isnt as high as some other backs on this list, but he has earned himself playing time in Green Bay and he will get enough touches in the Packers offence to guarantee you fantasy points. The problem with Starks is a lack of touchdowns, as the Packers normally take to the air to get into the end zone. Starks has a low ceiling, but high floor and should be rostered in all fantasy leagues. Others to consider - Beanie Wells (at Falcons), Ronnie Hillman (vs. Chargers), Jacquizz Rodgers (vs. Cardinals), Joique Bell (vs. Packers) WIDE RECEIVERS Danario Alexander (at Broncos)Even with Robert Meachem back in the lineup, Alexander played most of the snaps after an 80-yard catch and run that went for a touchdown early in the first quarter. That was all head coach Norv Turner needed to see, and Alexander dominated playing time from that point on, en route to five catches, for 134 yards and the score. Alexander has immense gifts as a pass catcher, but he carries a significant injury risk. Dont break the bank to get him, but if you are desperate for help at wide receiver, Alexander can give you the highest return for your investment out of this weeks crop of wideouts. Cecil Shorts (vs. Texans)Believe it or not, Shorts is on pace for 51 receptions, 997 yards and seven touchdowns, and he only recently became a starter. Shorts saved his fantasy day last Thursday with some garbage time points, but that doesnt take away from him cementing himself as the most explosive of Jacksonvilles receivers. The matchup will be harder this week as the Jaguars draw Houston, however, Shorts is still the teams biggest threat to score through the air. Donald Jones (vs. Dolphins)Jones is averaging more targets in his last three games than the Bills top option Steve Johnson, slightly edging his teammate 8.0 to 7.7 targets per game. Jones has been particularly productive during that time, with 16 receptions, 186 yards and two touchdowns during that three-game span. Now the Bills will have a short week before they host the Dolphins on Thursday night. Miami has let their opponents pass the ball at will this season and that could mean another nice game for Jones. Others to consider - Laurent Robinson (vs. Texans), Donnie Avery (at Patriots), Golden Tate (Bye) TIGHT ENDS Greg Olsen (vs. Buccaneers)Some of the names on this weeks tight end list will be owned in your league, but some of them may have been dropped and now is the time to pounce. One thing Olsen, Gresham, Pitta, and Rudolph all have in common is that each had big games in Week 10, including all four scoring touchdowns. Olsen capitalized on a great matchup with the Broncos and has another lined up in Week 11 against the Buccaneers. Others to consider - Jermaine Gresham (at Chiefs), Dennis Pitta (at Steelers), Kyle Rudolph (Bye) Colin Kaepernick Womens Jersey .ca MLB Power Rankings for a couple of weeks, but theyve returned to the number one ranking in the seasons final edition. The Twins avoided getting swept in the four-game series. They finished a 10-game road trip with a 2-8 record. Josh Hamilton hit his 35th homer for Texas and drove in four runs, giving him a major league-leading 111 RBIs. De Vries (3-5) was 0-4 in 10 starts since beating Kansas City on June 30. The right-hander gave up two runs and struck out five in five innings. He allowed three hits, none after the opening inning, and retired his final 12 batters. De Vries threw five pitches in the first before the umpires stopped the game because of steady rain. After a delay of 1 hour, 26 minutes, Texas jumped on De Vries. The AL West leaders got three straight singles after play resumed, capped by Hamiltons two-run hit that put Texas on top 2-1. De Vries, who threw seven scoreless innings against Texas on July 8, retired 15 of the next 16 he faced. The only batter to reach was Geovany Soto, who struck out but got to first on a passed ball. Minnesotas starting pitching had been battered in the first three games of the series, giving up 18 earned runs and 24 hits in 9 2-3 innings. Relievers Casey Fien and Jared Burton each pitched a scoreless inning and Glen Perkins worked a perfect ninth for his seventh save in 10 chances. Scott Feldman (6-10) lost his fourth straight start. He gave up six runs and 10 hits in 5 2-3 innings. Revere lined an RBI triple in the sixth that gave the Twins a 6--2 lead. Colin Kaepernick Red Jersey. The speedy right fielder reached base five times and scored three runs. Hamilton hit a two-run homer off Jeff Gray and Nelson Cruz added a solo shot two batters later to bring Texas within 6-5 in the sixth. Texas centre fielder Craig Gentry took a home run away from Joe Mauer in the ninth. Gentry went back to the nearly 9-foot wall, jumped up and snared the drive before it cleared the fence. The Twins a took the lead for good with an unearned run in the third as first baseman Mitch Moreland and third baseman Adrian Beltre committed errors. Justin Morneaus sacrifice fly to shallow left, which Hamilton dropped while transferring the ball from his glove, put the Twins ahead 3-2. Mauer and Trevor Plouffe had RBI singles in the fifth that extended Minnesotas lead to 5-2. Revere walked and scored on Josh Willinghams double in the first. The Twins tied the game at 2 in the second on Pedro Florimons groundout. NOTES: Twins LHP Scott Diamond said he is ready to make his scheduled start Tuesday as he awaits word on his appeal of a six-game suspension for a pitch thrown near the Hamiltons head. Diamond said the appeal was filed late Friday afternoon and was uncertain whether the league would address it by Monday. "I dont know when I will hear," Diamond said. "It might take them a day or two." ... Moreland batted second for the first time since May 21, 2011. ... Gentry ran into 2B Ian Kinsler making a catch to end the fifth. Gentry was down for a couple of minutes, but walked off on his own and remained in the game. ' ' '
