A second round pick in the 2004 draft by the Coyotes, Lisin has six goals and two assists in 32 career games in the NHL. Marcell Dareus Jersey . What they didnt get was a victory by the Toronto Maple Leafs, or a very good showing in goal from incumbent starter Vesa Toskala.Canadian diver Alexandre Despatie believes he was "lucky in [his] misfortune" when he hit his head on the board in a training accident on June 12. "If I hit [the board] a centimetre lower, the concussion would have been a lot harder," he said in a press conference on Saturday. "Theyve told me that I wouldnt have been able to dive for at least 30 days after the accident. I would have been sitting on my couch at the moment." Instead, the two-time Olympic silver medallist is four days from competing at the fourth Olympic Games of his career. But when Despatie steps onto the board in Wednesdays three-metre synchronized diving event, he will do so with a large scar still marring his hairline. Despatie was attempting an inward 3.5 somersault at a training camp in Spain when he leaned too far forward on his take-off, turning a comfortable dive into a catastrophe. He was sidelined for two weeks with the first concussion of his diving career, and required surgery to cclose the gash across his head. Steve Johnson Womens Jersey. . The dive in question - a 3.5 inward somersault -- was one he had performed countless times, before. Responding to recent reports that the accident was worse than he had originally let on, Despatie admitted that he has lost sensitivity on the top of his head due to nerve damage. "Luckily, I dont need the top of my head to be a diver. I still have my hair, everything is alright," he said. "I think what people need to know is that there was a big cut, just because of the way I hit the board. But at the same time, the way I hit the board allowed me to be here today." To address any psychological effects of the accident, Despatie says he continues work with a sport psychiatrist. "This is all new to me, all these psychological aspects of the preparation, but I think extreme circumstances need extreme measures," he said. "Im doing everything in my power to be ready in all aspects of my event." ' ' '
