Levithanites! A challenge is set before us. We must create an effective, powerfull defensive force for our Alliance! One that is active, structured, and unbeatable.

While I do not expect the task to be an easy one... I do accept the challenge.

If elected I will do my best to set up a strong system that works. One that works so well future Directors of Defense would have little to do in establishing a basis.

And what is more, In order for us to truly be defended, I believe the development of an Intelligence Agency is in order. This will be one of my secondary goals as DoD.

If you have any questions please ask them. My main tactic in this is to say what I have to say, and elaborate when you ask the questions.

In the interest of keeping discussion going, here's a question for the candidate:

To what degree will the planned intelligence agency and the Grand Leviathan Army work together? I've seen many approaches in my day. In one model, the intelligence agency and GLA work in concert against a common target (so while operatives in Region X work on taking down a threat from the inside, the GLA plans a conventional military attack against Region X). In another, the GLA takes on threats that can be attacked conventionally, while the intelligence agency is used against regions that can easily repel invasions [OOC: Have an active founder]. In yet another, the intelligence agency is used primarily for fact-finding, and the GLA uses this information to plan its attacks. Of course, there are probably more possibilities, but the question is, which one do you prefer?

I prefer a stictly fact-finding method. Or, use to aid the GLA in it's defense. However, the latter should be used only when neccesary. otherwise it would be in the fact-finding field.
