Comrades!

Today, I was informed by President Stanimar that I am to become the editor-in-chief for The Statesman. I accept this responsibility gratefully, and thank him for bestowing it on a junior member such as myself.

I wish to know from the readership of The Statesman what they wish to see in the paper. A section highlighting new members? Editorials? Election and political event coverage? (OOC - A section for OOC events?)

Please post your suggestions below. Remember, anything is possible; after all, this is Leviathan.

P.S. - Also vote in the above poll.

Interviewing the leaders of new nations might be a good way to help them feel more welcome in the Republic, and would help them introduce themselves.

By and large, I think The Statesman's highest duty should be to report on important happenings in the Republic, especially in the Departments, which not every Congressman may visit on a daily basis.

Eventually, you may wish to work with the ambassadors to bring coverage of news in foreign regions for our benefit.

There are all idle suggestions, and I defer to your judgment of their viability. I hope I've given you some food for thought, though.

A notice has appeared on the front door of the publishing house of The Statesman.

Quote:

DUE TO INACTIVITY, AND RECENT POLITICAL EVENTS, THE STATESMAN IS HEREBY CLOSED UNTIL A POINT IN TIME TO BE DECIDED BY PRESIDENT AND EDITOR-IN-CHIEF SFOZ.

THAT IS ALL.
