Here is a feature that I stole from Rock Band which would work well with LoWM. Backwards Compatibility. How it would work (2 ways): Method 1 would require some coding in LoWM2. Essentially you'd Download a Patch for the original LoWM. It would add an option to the main menu called "Export Roster". Once selected it would tell you that this costs 400 MS points (about $5). Select "Yes" and you download a Key and your Export begins. It saves all the Models (NOT in the sequel) to the Hard Drive, along with Movesets, Entrances, etc... These can now be used in the Sequel. The $5 goes to reacquiring rights to the superstars not in LoWM2. The minimal coding goes towards allowing these added characters to utilize new features, new game types, etc... essentially adding on moves and other necessary things to the existing models. For the 360, these are separate save files so you can delete the ones you don't want. PS3 doesn't allow this so you are stuck with all of them. Method 2 would work like the SvR Import. All the models, movesets, etc are already on the disc. You need to select Import from the LoWM2 menu. It tells you to insert your old disc (to verify that you still own it or at least rented it) and it unlocks the old dudes for you. Because this method can be circumvented with renting the game, it may also cost $5 OR it will just cost $5 and you will only need a Save game to Import. Added Bonus: Allowing CALs from the previous game to be Exported. |

I read a article a while back that said the reason they didn't do this on old SVR games was due to the changes in caw parts and moves available. Its a very lame reason any programmer can get round that problem but they are rapidly losing that as a reason. Before they also said it was due to space on the disc that they removed material now its on a Blu-ray for the PS3 and unlike a PS2 the Xbox360 is designed after dual layer DVD's had standardized. |

If its disc space their worried about, they can for go the 4 minute movie clips. A nice feature but it takes the back seat to more pressing matters like roster size and CAW options. |
