An entire species, or rather, grouping of species that simply, does not exist, having been denied life or death eons ago by their "creators".

When this world didn't even exist, when Creation was still ongoing in many different worlds and realms, during the time of the marriage between the Great God of Heaven, Adonai or Yahweh, and the Great God of Hell, Lilith or Kisikillillake, they decided to work together, to make a Creation that would bridge his Heaven and her Hell, a "middle point" in between his Angels and her Demons. Along with so many other attempts such as the Seven Earthly Realms and its inhabitants, and the creation of their own brand of humans in the mortals Adam and Lilith, this would be an attempt to create an intermediary realm where these beings, counterpart to both of their species, would live. Yet problems arose, just as they had in the past: Yahweh seeked peace and harmony, while Lilith seeked strife and chaos. When the mortals Adam and Lilith had troubles in their own marriage, Lilith seeked to leave them together forever to have them both unhappy for eternity, while Yahweh granted Lilith her wish of wings to fly away from Adam and let her stay with the demons she prefered, even when his own Angels disagreed. Whereas Adonai seeked for his Angels to see the Demons as their brethen, Lilith seeked for her Demons to become eternal enemies of the Angels, just to amuse herself. Eventually this and many other problems led to their divorce, dspite how much respect and how much love the couple had, they were jsut incompatible on those levels.

Unfortunately, this let the "intermediary realm" they were making, and the many, many beings that they didn't even thought about properly, all of them just fantasies and half-thoughts that remained in a state between existance and nonexistant, a forgotten kind of entities. Whenever they could manifest a mind of their own, what little things filled their minds was just sorrow and hatred at their nonexistance, and this disgust transforms into a scorn against Angels and Demons, whom the Forsaken Ones see as their rivals as they occupy all time and care from their respective Deities.

Adonai and Lilith know of this, and know that they could finish these feelings from the Forsaken by giving them shape and form; yet they don't even acknowledge them, out of the pain that they bring to them, the sadness reminding them of the past and what the Forsaken used to represent for them. Also, they know that were the Forsaken to manifest fully, they would go oin rampage to destroy Angels and Demons, Heaven and Hell alike, in a war against everything to get the attention of their Creators; and yet, they don't erradicate them out of sorrow and the fact that technically these beings don't even exist.

So far, only one member of these grouping of species has manifested: The Great Dragon Theli, who bites its own tail and floats in the vast nothingness in between realms, trying to encircle Heaven and Hell and looking for a way to destroy them both. Its power is truly Godlike, and no being that has ever confronted it has come back alive.

It should also be pointed that the Djinni are technically part of the Forsaken, if only because they represent the joining of Heaven and Hell, in a sense; or rather, of neither, independent entities with their own realms and realities that just happen to have been made by Adonai and Lilith in tandem. But unlike the Forsaken, the Djinni were finished beforehand and as such do exist. It is believed that, should the Forsaken truly exist, they would resemble the Djinni in some form.
