Codename: Scharlache Königin, Regina-N/R 1 (standing for “Queen-Black/Red 1” in Italian, both because of her position as the Black Queen of the system used in Signora del Gioco, and role as the “Red Queen” that she always assumes)
Name: Madeleine Schiffer
Age: 39
Zodiac Sign: Scorpio
Gender: Female
Orientation: Straight
Ethnicity: German/Russian
Place of Birth: Berlin, Germany
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Raven black, appears to have a reddish tint, though (most probably dyed as all of her known family are blonds)
Height: 6’ 2”, usually augmented with high heels

Physical Appearance: Exuberant, distantly beautiful and stylish, Madeleine is a femme fatale in all the meanings of the phrase, a sensual woman whose sexiness is directly proportional to her dangerousness. With her prominent bust, dangerous curves, a derriere that attracts everyone’s looks and overall “shaped out of clay by the greatest artists and given life by the breath of the Gods” looks, always enhanced by her expensive clothing (always in black and red), she’s been known to break the hearts of many just as much as she breaks their bones.
Personality: While cold, distant and sardonic for most, she’s pretty romantic and loving of her lover/partner in crime. Only entertained by battles and missions, she is thrilled by the excitement of hurting others and proving herself superior to them, though she usually keeps this to herself under the cover of her ruthlessness and efficacy in every form of espionage and combat. Has said that dating was a hell before she met Giaccomo.
Voice: Rather soft and deep, obviously feminine but lacking any form of sweetness or “girliness”.
Affiliations: Signora del Gioco as its second in command and leader among the Walküren and the Jaeger.
Occupation: Spy, hitman, mercenary, special agent, bodyguard and lover of Giaccomo Salvatore.
Quirks: None identifiable.
Likes: Gambling, a good drink and good cigarettes, elegance, fights to death
Dislikes: Very calmed environments, alcohol-free beverages

Weapons: She has an entire personal arsenal that she keeps with herself whenever possible. Her main weapons are a pair of really big submachine guns (which she calls “Madison and Monette”, but also has a disturbing number of guns of different kinds and sizes; her significant other jokes she has enough firepower to overthrow an entire country by herself. Aside from this, she also has a pair of rocket launchers.
Powers/Abilities: A highly trained fighter in different fields and martial arts, expert street fighter, with a knowledge of the different methods to inflict pain and death, from the quick and painless, to slow and painful, and any other possible variation. Has shown superb skills when using weapons of any kind, and specially guns and the like.
Limitations: Despite all her training, strength and agility, she’s a normal, mortal, unpowered human with no powers whatsoever. Despite this, she’s trained so as to make up for her limitations, but still is not exactly a superhuman being.
Family: Madeleine is the younger daughter of the Schiffer family, a long line of actors, ballet dancers, opera singers and artists in general, though Madeleine’s branch was a rather normal family. She’s the sister of Gisela Schiffer, an agent of Les Chevaliers.
Aspiration/Goals: So far unknown, she seems intent on supporting Giacomo’s plans, and still seems to want to one-up Gisela somehow, but aside that it is unknown what her actual plans are.
History/Background:
Madeleine is the younger daughter of the Schiffer family, a long line of actors, ballet dancers, opera singers and artists in general. Madeleine was born to a branch of the main family, with almost no ties to the actual one, but both she and her sister Gisela showed an interest on becoming important, in some way or another. Both trained in ballet, both got the best acting skills, both became expert artists, but no matter what happened, only Gisela seemed to be recognized, and Madeleine always stood at her shadow. When Gisela joined to Les Chevaliers, becoming their well-known “Lady in Red”, Madeleine followed her, and the two had a constant rivalry against each other, seemingly a friendly one but it only masked Madeleine’s bitterness and growing anger. This led to constant fights between the sisters, Gisela trying to repair the damage she at first didn’t know about, and Madeleine refusing to accept help from Gisela, until one day, after a mission, Madeleine abandoned Les Chevaliers, not without first trying to attack Gisela. Gisela tried to stop her non-violently, but if it wasn’t for a timely intervention by the elite member Noah Adam Darcy (who was said to be Madeleine’s lover at the time, though most think it is just a rumor and he hasn’t confirmed anything), Madeleine would probably have won. Madeleine then escaped from there, and nobody at Les Chevaliers knew anything about her for years… until, one day, Madeleine resurfaced, now a hitman and mercenary, but also a married woman: married specifically to the leader of the dangerous organization Signora del Gioco, Giaccomo Salvatore.
Song: Many a song by Kyle Minogue jump to my mind when I think of her, but mostly: “Red Blooded Woman”, Can’t Get You Out Of My Head”, “Promises”, “On A Night Like This”, "Giving You Up" and specially “Chocolate”, the last one being the one I identify her with mostly. Also, the song “How High” by Madonna may also fit.
