It must be remembered that, when encountering an species from another world that might resemble some of our own, or even be identical, these are NOT, by any means, the same. Even if they are qualified into the same species, such as Kadmonites, or Demons, or Angels, the specie will vary notoriously from world to world, never sharing necessarily the same instincts or abilities, and in the same way, just because a being looks or emulates the appearance of traits of an species, this doesn't mean in any way, shape or form that they are actually emulating an species in particular or that they will take on all the traits usually associated by observers: to give an exmaple, if a being took the appearance of a dog, and the characteristics of one, it doesn't mean they will take on the attitudes or instincts of one. A contrary way of thinking to this is what has lead to the death of many individuals, humans and animals of Earth, as they encounter such entities as either the Strix or spirits that take on the forms of dogs or cats or similar. While the human ones usually simply consider that these entities are mostly ineffensive, not recognizing the danger they might pose, the animals usually tend to keep a slight sense of knowing that these beings are NOT the same as them, and are not trying to emulate them, but to harm them. This hasn't stopped these "emulators" from taking these forms, either simply to lull preys into their own, or simply to cause harm and damage to others by their own amusement, without even taking ANY of the mindsets, or instincts, or personality traits usually expected from these species: this is also why humanoid beings are not to be trusted when appearing. Appearance is only a façade, deceptive by nature, and it is for not looking beyond it and for not expecting anything else than what one usually expects that these beings, be them Angels, Demons, Kadmonites of other kinds or even Gods, have been able to cause such problems to mortal beings from our world. Those ar emerely disguises, not worn to take part of the lives of the species and NOT to take on their demeanor, but simply to usher whatever whim they want in that form, or merely because they feel comfort using that form. Appearance or Physical Body and Mind and Soul are separate, and what affects the body rarely, if ever, affects the soul, but not vice versa. So if the change is only in appearance only and not in the soul or the mind, then there is no change to the being in demeanor: if the being's soul or mind is affected, it is then and only then that one may actually expect them to take on such demeanors, and even then it is a very off chance. It must be noticed that this entire concept only applies if the being who takes on the new form is a "soul inhabiting a body" and not a "body moved bya soul", o to speak: that is to say, a being like the Shedim Demons, many kinds of Angels, all Gods, many Seelie fairies and all Unseelie fairies, a few elves, etc. A being whose body is their main part, so to speak, that their physical body is the house of their mind and not just a vesel for their soul, such as all Kadmonites, may take in the form of another entity and be taken over by their instincts and demenors, but this will never happen to a being whose soul is their main part, and their body merely acts as a vessel for its power. This also applies to beings. Note: This only applies when the being Edited by Prince Blanche, Jul 24 2009, 11:24 PM.
