Different entities that can be considered as extremely minor Gods or just as the equivalent to a mortal species created by the Greco-Roman related Gods. Depending on the specific realm they live in, they tend to have different characteristics and abilities. Usually, though, the Satyrs represent or have more relationship with the bountiful earth and soil, along with the wilderness, while the nymphs represent the different realms in which wilderness can be found and the elements, mimicking the relationship between the male Gods being rulers and the female Goddesses being their "kingdom" or a representation thereof.

Unlike most species, very few of them actually need to reproduce at all, as they are practically immortal, not aging and being rather resistant, and even if they die they may reform later. Yet when they do mate, the nymphs and satyrs pair up, and there ar eno female satyrs or male nymphs (unlike with fauns and the Divae/Divus, their speicifc counterparts).

Plant Nymphs:
Water Nymphs:

  • Maenads: While technically considered as the same as nymphts of the land, plants or nature in general, the nymphs known as maenads are FAR MORE savage than the actual ones. Notice, please, that a maenad is any female being who follows Dionysus or Bacchus and is driven to ecstasy and madness as they go; while nymphs are more common, there are also kadmonites of all subspecies, human and animal; fairies; angels; demons; elves; etc. The Nymphs, though, tend to be already associated with nature before being transformed, which may mean that the more related to nature the more susceptible one is to becoming a maenad. Maenads are well-known for being quite cruel and homicidal against.... well, everything, and are also known for ditching whatever source of food that they use before for the flesh and blood of their former species. Once a being becomes a maenad, their bodies and souls seem to be altered, at least to a degree.

Land Nymphs:

  • Lampades: Also known as Nymphae Avernalis, these are the Nymphs that exist in the Hades and the aboves of the dead. They are far more regal than normal Nymphs and tend to dress (which is in and on itself an achivement... we're talking about Nymphs here, after all), mostly preferring black robes. Their powers are associated with madness and death, but they've shown an ability to manifest greenish-blue flames that, when exposed to any other being (who isn't a God) will reveal to them secrets of the underworld and great gifts of the magics of the dead, but will slowly drive whoever see the flames for long to madness.

They are very unintelligent all the satyrs do is chase the nymphs around and then when they catch them they "celebrate" (XXX). THe nymphs are always naked. They forget everything from the day before, so they are harmless.
