Rather than one single species, the definition of Animals or Kadmonites is given to hundreds of different species of entities existing accross different worlds, all of them resembling each other on a basic sense to be at least recognizable the same.

Animals come in many shapes and sizes, and iwth different abilities depending on the exact species and subspecies. None of them has a natural gift or ability to use magic, but it isn 't truly necessary for them as many of them have equally notorious abilities for adaptation.

It must be noticed that humans enter inside the definitions of animals: indeed, humans, either those from this world or human species that are older than this world itself, are simply part of the animal world, despite what they could claim that they aren't.

All animal species in all worlds, no matter what way they were created, lso share the fact that all opf them are at least partially based on Adam Kadmon, the "Perfect Animal", "Perfect Human" or just the "Primeval entity". Adam Kadmon's origins and nature will be elaborated upon in other sections, but it suffices to say that it was a being that originated in a desolated universe eons ago, after the older races (The First, Demons, Angels, Djinn, Fairies among others) manifested or were created by the Gods. After his immediate death, his dead spiritual body dispersed and became fragmented into the souls of animals and humans of different worlds.
