ELANO Posts: 107 Group: Admins Member #1 Joined: Oct 14, 2008	Admission £2.00 Attendance 75 HC I went over to whetstone on saturday to watch the above fixture, and for this time of the year it was a good game. The first half was quite a fiery encounter with Blaby certainly not backing off from their opponents, the ref was letting a lot of tackles go which really was the wrong thing to do as it was a friendly, a quiet word with the captains would have done the trick. Blaby took a well deserved 1 - 0 lead into half time. The second half was a some what quieter half than the first on the tackle front, and Kirby Muxloe certainly looked the better side this half. Two late goals sealed the Victory. Kirby Muxloe had thier main strike force missing, Stu Verrell, Marc Shultz and Marc Ashton and had a few new players from St Andrews (alot of players seem to have left St Andrews this season, has Clem Dublin moved on). All in all I feel Kirby will need to strengthen to keep in the top half of the MFA table. Pictures now online - they might take a while to load as I did it at a bit of a high res - apologies ..... Oh and the much travelled Mark Sherlock was playing for Kirby as well!!!! Edited by NigelH, Jul 28 2009, 06:00 PM.
