Zodiak looked to her and nodded, his nostrils flaring as he ran. He was getting tired, his body was numbing. <Duct tape is this silver tape that's super strong.> he explained, narrowly avoiding a sharp twig jutting from the ground. He slipped on the grass as she turned sharply and he did what he could to keep up. They were going home yet the burning feeling in his body was getting hard to ignore. They ran into a cave and his paws fumbled along the sandy ground as he murred quietly. He saw the light at the end of the cave and just as he was about to touch it-- He exploded. Not into the tiny chunks he had expected himself to, but a naked human, laying in a heap on the ground. Finishing his skid, he gotup and shook off, then covered him self and called out for Kassa. "I exploded!" he cried out while covering himself. |

Kassa thought about that for a moment, silver tape that was super strong. The human world had such strange things. She heard him stumble and she stopped, turning she saw him explode into his human form. <Zodiak.> Coming over to him she rubbed around his legs and licked him. <Your not in little pieces! I'm so happy.> Jumping on her hind legs she hugged him with her large paws. <But your not in little pieces.> Kassa reminded him licking his cheek with her rough tongue. |

Zodiak looked to her and smiled as she hugged him tightly with her big paws. "I know!" he said happily and then blushed recalling his clothes burst with him. She licked his cheek and he returned it, then climbed on top of Kujo and smiled sheepishly. "I can't run as fast and I don't wanna risk turning back to tiger, so can you run for me boy?" he asked. The big cat growled and moved to Kassa. "Okay, that might work. Let's go, I'm freezing." he said. |

Seeing him happy that he wasn't in little pieces made her even happier. <We'll go back to your land and eat fish okay? Everything will be better.> Kassa hoped that was true and she knew Kadara looked forward to seeing a new land. She had always been adventurous. Kassa got off of Zodiak and saw Kujo move toward her, she licked him and nuzzled him before taking off deeper into the cave. In the middle of a clearing in the cave the light seemed to be shimmering. Kassa nodded and moved so Kujo and Zodiak could go through first with the rest of the tigers. |

“Okay, thank you, Kassa.” He said, blushing the whole ride home. They entered a bright clearing and Zodiak scurried back to the tent and returned with a blanket wrapped about his hips like a toga. It trailed like a bridal gown and he couldn’t help but laugh. He sat down on a rock and looked guiltily at Kassa/Kadara. “I don’t think I wanna go back there for a while.” He said, watching as a sea of orange and black piled through the clearing and towards the water. Kujo spent a good while rubbing and marking against trees and bushes, growling loudly at anybody that came close to him. He smelled like Kassa’s homeland and he wanted to remark his land and make it stronger. Once done, he walked to Kassa/Kadara and rubbed against her hard, impatiently. He placed his rump against her side and lifted his tail, staring Zodiak down and growling softly. “Kujo, knock it off.” He said. Kujo blinked and scooted his but along her before ‘kissing’ her cheeks and lying in front of her. “Kujo…Kujo wants to mark you but he can’t, so now you can’t leave.” He said with a smile, the big cat rolling to his back and growling softly. |

<Welcome.> She said as they ran. Once in the clearing of the mortal world she dropped down and lay on the cool grass for a moment. <Neither do I.> Kassa said. My homeland is in ruins. . .the thought made her want to cry. How could this happen. Kadara perked up when she saw Kujo marking his territory, she found him to be quite a handsome tiger, but Kassa held her back. She didn't want Kadara making friends with him quite yet. Kassa gave a soft huff at Kujo when he went to mark her. Shifting out of Kadara's body she seperated herself from Kadara and sat down next to Zodiak, as Kadara rolled around on the ground and then looked down at Kujo. |

Zodiak looked at her through his bangs and frowned. Even as a tiger she seemed depressed, upset, scared even. He walked to her and pet her fur softly. He didn't understand the whole thing or any of it actually, and that fact bothered him. She was such a good girl, she didn't deserve to be put through all of this. Kassa sat beside Zodiak and he held her awkwardly. he hadn't done so naked before, or at least shirtless. He hoped she wouldn't mind. Kujo growled as he watched Kadara, his tail wiggling back and forth happily. "So, what do we do now?" Zodiak asked Kassa. He wasn't sure what had happened and therefore wouldn't know the next step, or to act now. He wanted trailmix, wanted his clothing, wanted the bright colors of the day to hurry and dim already. His hand brushed over her bluish fur and Kassa looked up at him with her orange eyes. Fear held onto her, she couldn't believe what was happening to her homeland. After changing she sat next to Zodiak and leaned against him, he held her though she thought it wasn't his normal tight hug, it was almost awkward but she didn't mind as long as he held her. Feeling the bare skin of his chest she stared at it for a moment and then closed her eyes. She liked the feeling of his bare skin against her cheek. Kadara sniffed Kujo warily and then slowly her tail moved cautiously and then happily. "Eat?" Suggesting this she opened her eyes and they glanced around as if she was afraid someone had followed them. |

Awkwardly hugging her, Zodiak's ears fell. He was scared and confused, he couldn't help her. He knew that her homeland was under siege and yet there was nothing he could do. His flaming tiger form was the strongest he was, yet he couldn't bring down armies alone if at all. He could hunt without remorse but to take a life, to fight willingly? He was scared crazy. Her cheek stroked his flesh and he held her head softly. "I'm sorry." he whispered while watching Kujo dance about Kadara. "What do you wanna eat?" he asked her with a small look. She was looking around warily and against his better judgment, he grabbed her face firmly and made her look into his green-blue eyes. "Kassa," he told her firmly, "don't be scared; we're all here to protect you, nobody will get you, I promise." he said, moving his thumb across her lips softly. |

Seeing Zodiak's ears fall she gently touched them, "Its okay, its okay." She was whispering those words to comfort herself as well as him. Nuzzling into his warm chest she kept her eyes closed, "Fish?" Suddenly his hands encircled her face and he made her look up at him. She opened her red eyes and stared into his blue-green ones. His thumb traced her lips and she whispered, "Will you kiss me?" The words were out before she could stop them but she wanted him to protect her and kiss her. |
