Roze
Fledgling
 *
Roze's heart almost leapt with excitement at the look in his eyes as she entered the room. Just a simple expression as such, was enough to make her day as special as the next. She smiled the biggest smile her face could express as he reluctantly left the safe haven of his business.

Roze watch him carefully as they turned and walked out for a moment. The feeling of lost hope lingered beside her and soon brightened as they stepped out. Roze watch him carefully as they turned and walked out for a moment. She wanted so much to be supportive and even before, when she stepped out to change, she felt like she was getting in the way of what he truly desired at that moment. Her hand, as if by some invisible, un controllable pulse, lifted from her side and resided on his handsomely tanned skin on the crook of his neck. “I miss you…”

What else was there to express? Everything.. was the thought that pulled her to talk to him more. She yearned to tell him everything, about the day at the bar and how relieved she had been to find him, the stable, where she had been, working hard to get it up and running again. How she wanted to start over, because her love was still strong in her heart, in her soul for him, about their daughter and her brain washed son and why she had left and was killed. How she had came back just to live for him.

She forced herself to smile through all the thoughts, just as she had always done before. A feeling of comfort had overcome her once she was aware of how beautiful it was on this day. The fall leaves made the world most beautiful and it felt as if everything that could possibility be imagined could be. Roze only hoped for good.

”You know… She stopped herself. She wanted to reassure him of her place as a supporter. She vowed silently, even to her-self (until just now) to never fail him again, no matter what the cost, especially her own selfish wants and stresses. Though she knew that only his reassurances would follow and they would walk into the sunset…with awkwardness.

Breatek. And then the looming feeling of ‘everything’ started again. Roze knew that it would go on and on until she could thing of something other then the past. The past had stopped and therefore, you would think that Roze wouldn’t give it as second thought, but she did, all the time. She let out a frustrated sigh directed only toward her-self as she leaned in to him, holding him there, if it only lasted a moment her soul would again feel it for a life time.

Roze could lose the sure-footed self she always had been not now and not in front of Breatek. I just wanted you for a moment. It’s been so quiet and frustrating lately.”
She pulled back to stop herself from complaining to him. “It’s a wonderful idea, opening a shop. I can’t believe you didn’t think of it before. You know, I still have that hawk that you carved me. I kept in the tree above where I was buried. No one found the nook there. She laughed at the thought. Good old Roze…always rambling at the wrong moments.

Braetek

All thoughts of his first day's business had slipped from his mind, and Braetek was finally happy again. Sure, he ws content being in business with Destin, but he hadn't been happy. But with Roze walking next to him, he could finally allow himself that bit of joy he'd been missing.

When she put her hand against his skin, her cool skin cleansing his own of it's constant pain momentarilt, he could have at that moment left everything he had just built forever. But instead, she pulled back, telling him about the hawk he'd carved for her not long after they first met. The thought brought a smile to his face as he rememberd how fond she was of taking on her own hawk form, or other small animals, and perching herself on his massive shoulders. It felt as though that were decades in the past.

Instead of answering, he brushed his hand across her cheek softly and leand down, kissing her forehead. The smell of her hair and her skin weakend him enough that a slight sigh escaped his lips. There could be no mistake about it; this was his Roze. In the flesh. Twice before he had been confronted by those who took her form, but they could never take her scent. Nor the slight movements that he rememberd so well. A slight tilt of her head, position of her hands when she looked at him. The way she held her eyes. He shook the thought from his mind before it could fester into the anger it always led to. She was here now, with him, and that was most important. Instead, he smiled and took a seat on a large piece of boulder, keeping Roze in his eyesight to keep his spirits where they should be.

"Roze, my dear, there may be some time we have been seperated, but I can still read you well enough. I know there is more you wish to say. You probably want me to explain my earlier actions, I'm sure."

He gave her one of his rare smiles, engulfing her hand in his own. "You should know that you can say anything to me. But if you choose not to, know that you have still made me happy, just allowing me to hold your hand once more."
