The small town in Kyoto was unusually busy this one Saturday morning, back in 1317. Children were chasing each other or running down the streets, wary of others walking or horse drawn carriages. The sounds of armor clanking together alerted all of a samurai leaving for the Emperor's services or returning from a won war. Along with the usual sounds, it seemed as if more dog-like sounds were heard. Wolf-like dogs roamed the streets freely, shifting into humans over time, naked and uncaring. The Black Blood clan, Kuroichi, was known for being the first to ever hold werewolves, believed to also be the first place where werewolves had originated from.
If a home had werewolves, a sign reading 'ookami otoko' was nailed to the door out of respect and out of curiosity. The wolves were never discriminated against, and some even helped the Emperor in battles, which were won easily with one or even a hundred wolves as they couldn't die.
In the Black Blood clan up a massive hill lay an enormous mansion where the leaders, the Oyabasu, were found. The Father, Kiba Hige Oyabasu, was a fearless and powerful leader. He was never usually at home once his first son Koto Shippo Oyabasu was born, but even more so as more and more werewolves were born. He knew the wolf ways, and he also knew how to keep the humans safe from adolescent werewolves who couldn't yet learn control.
His wife, Ayama Yuki Oyabasu was a housewife, and although she was beautiful and fragile looking, she too, was a deadly fighter if need be. The house was royalty, the Emperor furthering their money by giving them fourty percent of everything the wars brought so long as Kiba gave him wolves to fight. All seemed fine and well, until his next son, his hundredth son, was born. Talon Riku Oyabasu was already a problem child the moment he was born with black fur and red eyes. Kiba's son Koto was the only son to live; the other 98 had died, leaving Talon the hundredth son curse. The curse was almost unheard of, but for those who had it or had information about it, it was known as the ancestral revenge. Anything unheard of that the previous ancestors had was given to the hundredth son or daughter; illnesses, afflictions, abilities or even countenances.
Talon, it seemed wasn't very lucky after all. He was deemed schizophrenic, masochistic, and even unable to control himself before he even aged to a month.
The gentle husband Kiba once was became shattered and disappeared, the love and care for his soon-to-be-born son and his wife were gone, replaced with shame, hate, and anger. Kiba requested his newborn to be killed immediately, before the immortality started to work, but Ayama wouldn't let him and she was beaten for acting out against her husband.

As Talon grew up to the age of five, he also grew apart from his brother and Father who seemed to become one. Koto and Kiba were always gone, training they claimed. Ayame was either taking care of frail Talon or taking care of the house or herself. Talon was taught day in and out by his Father how to shift and control it, and even when he got it, he lost control and became a bloodthirsty, wild, and crazed individual, killing any human who got to close or if he wasn't stopped. Kiba was always scolded by the Emperor and other werewolves, and that caused Kiba to become further enraged, beating Talon if he didn't do exactly what was expected of him. Sometimes, he would be pushed to the brink by his werewolf or his schizophrenia and lash out at his Father in a bout of random rage, but his Father was strong and normally a broken bone would calm his son. At five years old, Talon wouldn't leave his room and even the smallest sounds made him flinch even if nobody was near him or even in the house. When his Father came home, he would immediately hide or start crying, his body would tremble for hours on end, and whenever he heard his Father near his door, he would immediately start to shift to wolf, losing control of his mind.

During the mating season and because he was too young, Talon remained home, sleeping and bandaged heavily this time from his Father's testosterone-induced beating. He heard the door open and started shaking, just to see his fourteen year old brother walk in. His brother was too young as well, but he had urges and if no women were around, his wolf wanted something else. Talon thought his Father's beating were bad, but being raped by a shifting, and then full-shifted werewolf was excruciating. He hadn't ever cried so much, hadn't ever bled or screamed so much...he remembered his brother being scolded for the first time ever, and then he remembered a large crack to the side of his skull.

A full moon, 1326. A seven year old Talon screaming and tearing chunks of his own skin out as fur and blood replaced the missing flesh. The fully shifted werewolf runs through the streets and passed mating or hunting wolves and without so much as tripping the alarm, he runs straight to the human society, smelling food and needing it badly.
A teenage girl falls to her knees when she sees the wolf and she calls out Talon's name, telling her who she is and asking him to stop. The wolf whimpers and crawls over to her on his stomach and she smiles, gently stroking his back as he growls and takes a bite out of her throat.

A war broke out after Talon killed the Emperor's daughter, and all werewolves were to be killed immediately. Many died, but not the purebreds. Ayama told Talon to lay down on his bed and when he asked her why she was crying, she shook her head, and then slit her throat. Enraged, scared, betrayed, Talon instantly fled the burning house and he was impaled by swords, arrows, daggers, and more. It didn't deter him or his tears and without thinking he dove right into the ocean and began to swim. His original destination was China, but a storm washed him farther and farther away and he woke up in Washington.
He ran on and on until his seven year old frame tired and collapsed inside of an abandoned mansion.

At thirteen, Talon learned more than 12 languages, learned that the war had advanced further and at 1614, he and his fiancee, Ayaka, made a home in the mansion. She had had her problems after the war, waiting until her Father, who was also abusive but a drunkard as well, was injured enough so she could escape. He asked her what was wrong and she would lash out at him as if she were his Father One day, he had it; when she lashed out at him, he lost control and caught her hand before it swiped his cheek, crushing it beyond recognition. She committed suicide two weeks later and he fell into a small depression. He fixed the mansion up and at fourteen, two visitors, his brother and Father, arrived at the mansion and took residence.

At seventeen, Talon stopped aging and lived as a handsome high schooler as the thoughts of werewolves became nothing but fairytales and Hollywood movies. At 1979, Talon was 'given' up to a laboratory by his Father and they claimed they could help werewolves and vampires with their blood cravings and their control. Talon went willingly at first but once they kept him in a locked cage and did horrific tests on him, he knew they were lying and wanted out. They mutated his werewolf gene instead of isolating it so they could read the werewolf gene. Instead of one werewolf, he gained six others in the names of the Seven Sins. During a violent escape, Talon saved nearly all of the tortured specimens, and for some he was too late. Only two doctors survived, or so he thought....

Talon now lives with his horny brother and his abusive Father, and he stumbles along aimlessly, trying to stop the war he started and trying to bring the werewolves and immortals in a better light.
