Sacred Island

Regular Forum (No New Posts) Arena
An old and slightly worn out Coliseum like building, positioned on a cliff side the ocean breeze helps cool the stifling heat, an old building recently refurnished to become a place that truly deserves to be called a wonder, spectators can sit in the stands and cheer on their friends as the two clans engage in battles, and other competitions, thought now they are friendly as fights to the death are strictly forbidden, there are also mysterious old passages deep under the combatants ready rooms for those who are more adventurous to explore.

Regular Forum (No New Posts) Cave of Legends
An unexplored part of the island where legends of old lie. Beneath the surface, waiting for brave souls to take on the ancient mysteries. Every twist and turn reveals something new. When first entering into the caves, it deceives you with its beautiful crystals, that softly light your path but as you go deeper, darkness engulfs you and strange creatures are prone to come after you. You never know where you'll end up, the caves go far below the surface. Some say they even go under the sea.

Regular Forum (No New Posts) The Crypt
An older section of the island, it is a somber place, the skies always seem cloudy, and the wind chills to the bone. On the surface there are old ruined buildings and a walled around area. Inside the walls is a graveyard filled with tombstones and other markers: some say the walls were meant to keep scavengers out, others to keep more sinister creatures in. A passage way in one of the old buildings leads to a Mausoleum, filled with dusty books and sarcophagi, and under the Mausoleum, is an old maze of catacombs, but few are brave enough to venture that deep to see what secrets it holds.

Regular Forum (No New Posts) Banquet Hall
Long oak tables laid out with every kind of food the imagination can imagine, chairs made from the same sturdy oak sit next to the table, beckoning you to come and join the feast. A warm fire crackles cheerfully on the far end of the room. Large tapestry's decorate the otherwise bare stone walls. Servants wait to serve you, your choice of wine. Musicians wait for the party to began. Come and explore the banquet hall, come for the music, the food, the entertainment or the grand stories of epic battles that are told only after the sunsets. Whatever your reason come and join the feast.

Regular Forum (No New Posts) Under the Sea
Below the surface of the ever rolling waves of the ocean lies another world of its own. Rays of light from above illuminate the various mountains and valleys of brilliantly colored coral. Jellyfish of all hues float lazily on the currents, all sorts of fish dart hither and thither in their groups. Sea anemones reach up with gently waving tentacles as sea stars make their way slowly to destinations only they know. A quickly fleeing shadow shows a sea turtle's passage. No two creatures are identical. Amongst the cracks, crevices and fissures, one can find the opening to a dark tunnel. Fish wander around it, but never within. Should one dare to venture within and follow the tunnel deep as it goes, they would come across a huge cavern, lit with what can only be described as magic. This is the dwelling place of Bane, the Guardian Dragon of the Legion. Often the dragon slumbers, rarely leaving. When the cavern is found empty, nearby marine animals are disappearing, never to be seen again.

Regular Forum (No New Posts) Forgotten Graveyard
A place of unholy legends and Gothic crosses where the wind whispers secrets through aged stone monuments built to honor things long forgotten. The scarred trees bend low to listen to the long forgotten secrets and to join in with their own sad moaning. Two large crypts decorate the middle guarding the secrets of the warriors who's souls rest there and who's sacred symbols are stored there beneath the crimson eyes of the guardians. The nightmarish place is surrounded by a slowly crumbling stone wall, that no longer keeps the outsiders at bay. A once grand gate lays silently among the dead, its days of glory gone. On the far side of the crypts is a willow tree that gently dips its weeping boughs into a glassy pond. Two small graves on the far side of the pond, a reminder that even the young die.

Regular Forum (No New Posts) Anny's Den
Leading from the Banquet Hall to the ocean, there is but a small trail. It takes one over and down the cliffs, then through the dunes. It is in these dunes that a small structure can be seen and accessed by the trail. The outside appears quaint and well kept. Once inside, there is a small desk by the door. This is because this small structure is actually a hostelry, run by a nice white-haired lady named Anny. Anyone finding the need of a place to stay or some friendly conversation is quite welcome in this place. Should they stay overnight, Anny is quite willing to lend them a room. As well, Anny will make breakfast in the morn. She makes three meals a day, and anyone, staying overnight or not, is welcome to come in and help themselves. There is a cozy kitchen, as well as more than enough rooms, a dining room, and a den, where she has an assortment of books arranged on a small bookshelf. In the den there are many comfortable chairs, a fireplace, and a small, fine tuned piano, all of which are open for use. The hostelry also has bathing rooms. Anny is usually around, but there are special bells around the rooms that alert her when she is needed. There is no cost to stay, and amount of stay is not limited. However, should anyone decide they wish to stay for over one week, they are requested to help out around the hostel, with cleaning and cooking.
