''I find myself in an unfortunate situation.'' Tyrone had finally realized as he finished filling another pouch of gold.
He looked around the large desert, ''Surly Gulma will win but without a ship I'm stuck here with that mindless beast.

He did not think of it at the time but now looking at what was his ship he noticed that it was too far for someone like him to walk to the closest town.
''We need to finish these two off and get out of here, fast!'' He told himself.
It had been a long time since Gulma's auto Moon Stone was activated and he knew all to well that not only did it prove to be an effective weapon but it also caused another problem.
He slowly moved back over to the battle while constantly checking the skies above him.

~

Gulma rushed by Razul, moving far to fast to stop as the man rolled out of his path.
Gulma was just thinking about slowing down as he rushed on by when he found himself stopping anyway.
He fell flat on his face, his burning arm slammed into the sand putting out the flames.

Around the giant's legs was a chain that had caused him to fall over.
His eyes locked onto Razul as his eyes seemed to glow.
The veins in his arms started to pump as some kind of white foam leaked from the metal around his mouth.

With one quick sweep of his arms he took a hold of the chain and pulled it as hard as he could, freeing his legs as he swung the chain once around his head and tossed it back at Razul.
Gulma picked himself up and started to beat his fists against his chests, letting out a monstrous roar.

Just then he slammed his fists into the ground and stood perfectly still.
There was tension around him, he looked like he was ready to take on an army.
However he was not attempting to move towards them, in fact it seemed like he could not.

~

''Darn, I'm running out of time!'' Tyrone told himself as he saw Gulma was nearing the end of his rage.
This was the first time he had been in an open area to fight where his opponents could move around more than if they were in a in closed space.

Tyrone knew that if Gulma's rage ended before the two others had been killed then he and himself would be open targets for the two.
He took another look to the skies before running as fast as the old man could to get behind his 'son'.

''Gulma, let them get close and finish them off!'' Tyrone ordered the monster.
''Do it for your 'dad'. hahaha.''

~

''All strength and no brain.'' Kikiora harshly said as she came up from behind Razul.
She had seen his attempt to use his weapon as a lasso to tie the giant up.
''He his not worthy of my Captain's time.'' She seemed to talk to herself for a moment before looking over at Razul.

She slammed down her anchor in front of him while looking at his chain weapon.
''More weight might do the trick.'' She suggested combining the chain to the anchor and having one more attempt at Razul's plan.

~

''Interesting.'' A voice spoke out in what seemed to be an empty bridge.
''I have not seen this signal in ages.'' The small red flashing light started to blink.

''Locate it's position and set a course.'' Another voice replied.

For a brief moment it appeared that his plan had worked. Gulma's leg became fouled and he pitched forward face-first into the sand. But the giant recovered far too quickly for either of his opponents to capitalize on his predicament.

With one swift motion Gulma grabbed the chain around his legs and wrenched it loose. This time Razul did not release his grip on it fast enough and he too found himself falling down. He scrambled back to his feet but was forced to throw himself to the ground yet again as the Guillotine's blade sliced through the air towards him.

Razul rose to a crouch and regarded his foe. Gulma was in a rage now, pounding his chest and bellowing like a beast. What was it going to take to slow him down? None of Razul's plans had worked so far.

Just then the Amazon woman, Kikiora, approached him again. ''More weight might do the trick.'' She suggested, dropping the ship's discarded anchor next to him. Did she honestly think Razul had the strength to toss the heavy object around as easily as she did?

Razul considered her plan carefully. It galled him to leave one of his possessions in the care of another but that couldn't be helped right now. "I think that task is best left to you my dear." He said, relinquishing his Guillotine to Kikiora.

In order to achieve victory Razul had been willing to cooperate with the warrior woman but until now they hadn't truly been working in tandem. Perhaps this was a good time to start. "I will distract the brute and leave you an opening to attack. Use it!" He commanded as if Kikiora were one of his underlings.

And then Razul began walking towards Gulma with rapid strides. He withdrew the pepperbox from beneath his armor and took aim. The giant had paused for a moment but Razul didn't bother to question his good fortune. All that mattered was that he had three bullets left in the cylinder and a clear shot at his target.

As he drew closer Razul squeezed the trigger. The lead ball erupted from the barrel and streaked through the air towards Gulma's forehead. With half of his head obscured by an iron collar Razul wasn't certain he could hit his target even at this range.

As that thought struck him Razul realized Gulma might have a another weakness he could exploit. Those iron restraints protected more than just the giant's flesh. The cunning kingpin halted his advance and fell to one knee just beyond the range of Gulma's attacks. He took careful aim at a new target and squeezed the trigger again.

This time he was aiming for the Red Moon Stone on Gulma's chest.

Kikiora waited for Razul to respond as he looked at the anchor she had dropped next to him.
A grin was already starting to appear on her face as she knew all to well he would not be able to lift the weight of the anchor.
It was the very words that she longed to hear from him and sure enough they came.

"I think that task is best left to you my dear." Razul said as he took a hold of his guillotine.
Kikiora grinned with delight loving the fact that a man could not lift something that she could.

"I will distract the brute and leave you an opening to attack. Use it!"
Razul passed Kikiora his weapon as he withdrew another weapon while making his way towards Gulma.

Kikiora held the chain in one hand and grasped the anchor in the other while she watched the man walk away.
''I think he might have a chance.'' She told herself under her own breath as she attached the two weapons together.
''The Captain will be pleased.''

~

Tyrone stood a few feet behind Gulma with a panic look on his face.
He knew Gulma had reached the end of his rage mode, ''Only time for one attack, darn my luck!''
Tyrone knew that Gulma only had the power for one last action, be that walking or letting out a devastating punch.

''Just wait for your target 'son'.'' Tyrone kept the giant from wasting his energy on moving towards the two fighters.
Lucky for him one of the two was making his way towards Gulma.

''That's right,'' The old man spoke in a quiet voice,
''Come to your doom.''

But as it seemed to be going Tyrone's way the man took aim with a fire arm and shoot at Gulma.
The first bullet came soaring across the sky and hit against the metal collar around the monster's neck.

Gulma's full attention was now on Razul, ready to pounce the second he came any closer.
Unlucky for the two Razul did not move closer but instead took another shot at Gulma.
This time the bullet flew towards the Red Moon Stone on his chest.

The bullet hit it's target and bounced as a small splinter of Moon Stone shattered.
What came next would been a surprise for anyone but his original creator as a small trail of blood started to run out from what seemed to be the Moon Stone itself and down his chest.
Gulma let out a cry of pain as he swung his arms into the air, ready to use their weight to fling himself over to Razul.

~

Kikiora had already started to swing the anchor around her head, picking up speed as it kick up the sand.
As soon as she reached a speed that she was happy with she started to loosen her grip as the chain gentle extended from her grip.
The anchor was now swinging around on just the chain that she was holding.

Kikiora narrowed her eyes as she waited for the opportune moment.
Just then a shot rang out as Gulma seemed to of been hit.
The second the beast raised his arms she let go of the chain, sending the weapon in his direction.
Quickly Kikiora regained her balance and raced after the flying anchor.

~

Gulma swung his arms down as they crashed into the sand causing himself to start to soar into the air towards Razul.
The moment his feet left the ground his attention moved to the large object which was on course with him.
The anchor swiped by the right side of his body, just touching him enough to send him spinning off balance.
Gulma landed face first into the sand as Razul's chain swung around like a wild snake, wrapping itself around Gulma's lower body.

Kikiora was on the scene as soon as the chain had stopped moving.
She ran up Gulma and came to a stop on his back.
The hunter bent down and grabbed the chain that was attached to Gulma, pulling it upwards towards herself.
The chain came up as it pulled the iorn ball attached to it into her grasp.
Kikiora held the large iorn ball above her head for a second before slamming it down onto Gulma's back.

The giant closed his eyes as he passed out, the Red Moon Stone's glow quickly vanished.
Just then the tubes in his shoulders started to shake as the red liquid shot out from his body and back into the tubes.
The one that had been shattered allowed the liquid to fly out onto the sand where it bunt the very sand as it evaporated.

~

''Located the signal Sir.'' A voice indicated,
''It's directly below us.''

''Good, prepare....'' A voice called out from the darkness of the bridge,
''...for retrieval.'' A second voice finished the sentence as if it was the same person speaking.

~

Tyrone gasped as Gulma fell unconscious.
''No!'' He shouted out,
''Do you know what I have to do now!?''

Tyrone seemed to forget that the two people in front of him more than likely wanted him dead.
''Now I have to reset the brut, get him to believe I'm his dad again!''
Tyrone for a moment started to talk to himself.

''You two will pay!'' He finally turned his attention to the two.
He raised his staff in one hand as he took a cheap swing at the two.
In his other hand he held several small pouches of gold.

''then again how much will it cost for you to turn a blind eye?'' Tyrone smirked as this had worked in the past.
However he was not sure that these two were the kind of people who would take a bribe.

Suddenly a dark shadow came over the group.
''No, they found me?'' Tyrone said in horror.

The ship waited over the group, it's flag blowing in the wind.
Kikiora took a quick look, ''It's just a doctor ship.'' She turned her nose up at the ship.

''What do you want to do with them?'' Kikiora asked Razul,
''He is too weak for me!'' She pointed at Tyrone,
''And he was a boring fight.'' She kicked her foot down on Gulma who she was still standing atop.

Kikiora waited for Razul to reply as Tyrone did not know what to do.

Just then tiny holes opened in the base of the ship.
Long metal tentacles shot out from the bottom of the ship towards the group.
Kikiora back flipped of from Gulma's back and onto the desert sand, almost losing her balance.

One of the tentacles came right for her which she lashed out for with her hand.
The punch caused the itentacle to swing in the opposite direction before it then retracted.

''Ahhh.'' Tyrone called out as he was wrapped up along with Gulma.
The two of them were lifted from the ground.

''Don't worry.'' A harsh female voice came from nowhere.
''I just want a tube of my A-G-O, then I'll dump you in this desert to die.''
Her words were mean and from the tone of her voice she was serious.

Kikiora looked up at the apparent 'doctor' ship but could only see the silhouetted out line of the woman.
''Don't worry, I have not forgot you two.''
As Gulma and Tyrone were taken into the ship another small hole opened up in the base of the ship.
''How about you test these out for us?''

Several small metal balls dropped from the ship before it turned and went on it's way.

The balls hit the sand and for a moment seemed to be nothing but cannon balls.
Kikiora rushed over to one in order to pick it up and use it as a projectile against the ship.
No sooner as she approached one it started to move.

It seemed to split in half but then it turned out that one half of the ball was in fact legs.
The things looked almost like little metal crabs, or so she thought.
The things were far to fast and buried themselves into the sand.

A few moments past,
''Well that was odd?'' Kikiora asked out loud.

Just then something caught her eye, ''I thought you killed that guy?''
Kikiora asked Razul while jerking her thumb in the direction of the man standing in the distance.

She turned to take another look, ''Oh wait, he is dead.'' She said, sounding a little surprised.
The man was indeed dead, only just standing on his own two legs.
On the back of his head was one of the small metal 'crabs' with it's legs dug deep into his skull.
The metal shell of the creature opened to show a small Yellow Moon Stone and a small tube of red liquid, both of which activated.

Soon the two were surrounded by several others.

-- Final round! The creatures are indeed just like Death's heads and I 'll post up info some other time.
Things to know, they are aggressive thanks to the liquid and the 'crabs' are electrified but the humans can be touched. They are slow and very easy to kill. One post and it's all over. ^__^ --

Razul began backpedaling as Gulma launched himself into the air. But just as quickly as the brute had gone airborne so too had Kikiora's anchor. The giant was knocked off course and then dragged back to the ground by the Amazon's aerial attack.

Kikiora closed in to deliver the final blow in the conflict. Razul was not pleased with this but it was better that she do it than for him to get too close to the giant himself. Gulma might very well have one last surge of strength in him.

He did not.

With a last gasp the brute collapsed upon the sand, his strength spent. Kikiora had also knocked him senseless with his own iron weight. The battle was finally over.

~

As Tyrant approached them Razul tensed for whatever retaliation the Valuan was capable of. Low rumbling laughter echoed from beneath his mask when the smaller man could produce no more than a feeble swipe at them both with his cane. His laughter grew even louder when Tyrant offered them a bribe to spare his life.

"This paltry sum means nothing to me." Razul mocked Tyrant. "But you shall pay nonetheless for wasting my time. I think perhaps..."

Razul's words were cut short by the arrival of another ship. It came to hover above them at a low altitude. "It's just a doctor ship." Kikiora stated. Razul also observed the red cross painted on its side as well as the name Arc-Aid emblazoned upon its prow. It did appear to be an ordinary medical ship and, given the bloody nature of their recent activities, its presence here wasn't all that suspicious.

"What do you want to do with them?" Kikiora asked. "He's too weak for me! And he was a boring fight." She continued, indicating first Tyrant and then Gulma.

Razul was pleased with the way she deferred to him. He considered her question carefully. "Do what you will with this oaf. You bested him after all." Razul replied, nodding his head towards Gulma. "But leave this one to me." He continued. His finger rose to point out Tyrant. "He has earned my displeasure. I would teach him the folly of his ways."

The look of terror on Tyrant's face was also pleasing to Razul. Even now he was considering all of the ways he would torment the old man once they were back at his mansion. He would reveal the true meaning of pain to Tyrant through sadistic acts of torture until he begged for his own demise. Yes, Tyrone T. Tyrant had good reason to be afraid.

But then Razul realized that he was not the source of the old man's dread. Seeing Tyrant's eyes staring in fear at the medical ship prompted Razul to turn his gaze upwards as well. And he did so just in time to sidestep a long metallic tendril that was reaching down from the ship's underbelly.

Razul was startled when the tendril followed his movements and wrapped around his mid-section like a living thing. "What treachery is this?!" He cried as the tendril lifted him off of the ground. He tried to pry the mechanical appendage loose but it's grip was too tight. Reaching around his back Razul drew is Iron Maidens and brought them crashing together on either side of the tendril. The impact was enough to damage its inner workings. Razul slid loose from the tendril's grasp and dropped back to the ground.

Razul was quick to notice that he was not the only thing that had fallen into the sand.

~

Razul sauntered over to where Kikiora's anchor had landed and slowly stooped to retrieve his Guillotine. He moved with marked slowness, as if his next step would attract the attention of whatever had just scuttled down beneath the sand. He gathered that they were some sort of autonomous creature, probably Valuan in design, that had been unleashed upon them by whoever was piloting the ship.

''I thought you killed that guy?'' Kikiora's question caught him off guard. He pivoted his head to see what she was referring to. What he saw was enough to alarm even him. A man who derived pleasure from the sight of blood and the sound of human suffering was upset by the sight of what could only be described as the walking dead.

Razul instantly recognized the clown with the painted face from earlier. That is he recognized him by the garish clothing he was wearing. The clown's face was obscured by some sort of metal helmet. But on second glance Razul realized that what he was wearing was not a helmet. Rather it was one of those strange machines from earlier.

"I did indeed." Razul answered Kikiora at length. "But it appears that someone has resurrected him."

The concept of reanimating the dead struck a chord deep within Razul and he was repulsed by the mere thought of it. He had no qualms with defiling the corpses of the dead or even the gory dismemberment of them. But the idea that the bodies of those he had killed by his own hand were now coming back to exact revenge upon him was extremely unsettling.

The rational part of Razul's mind realized their reanimation had more to do with whatever those machines attached to their heads than any vendetta from beyond the grave. Still his first instinct was to run away, to put as much distance between himself and these abominations as he could. But his fear quickly turned to anger when he thought of how humiliating it would be to do so.

"I shall partake of the pleasure of slaying you a second time." Razul growled, slamming his Iron Maidens together with a loud clash. "And this time you won't be coming back from where I'll send you."

~

Bellowing a war-cry that reverberated behind his ivory mask Razul launched himself towards the clown. Its deceased form shambled forward with its arms outstretched to receive him. While the body appeared nearly lifeless despite its movement the mechanism attached to its head was active. From somewhere in its construction a Yellow Moon Stone glowed and its arms twitched, controlling the corpse like a puppet.

Razul reckoned the machine to be the best target. He charged in and delivered a strong punch to the clown's head and the mechanical horror that rode atop it. Flesh tore and bone snapped as the clown's head was ripped from his shoulders. The machine's weight coupled with the strength of Razul's arm made it easy. And yet Razul was surprised at the ease of his victory.

He clearly recalled fighting the clown earlier. Alive he had been fast and agile, a deadly opponent. But now....well, he was exactly what he appeared to be; a mindless puppet. "Hah, this lot is hardly worth the effort! No challenge at all!" Razul crowed in exultation, attempting to banish his fear through sheer bravado. Weak though they may be the walking corpses still unsettled him.

With confident strides Razul moved to intercept his next victim. Three of the men Gulma had slain earlier had also risen from the dead to challenge him. With a cruel smirk he drew his Guillotine and began swinging it over his head. The three corpses crept closer, some of them wobbling drunkenly as they came. Their bodies had been shattered beyond repair by Gulma's attacks but the mechanical crabs somehow managed to get them up and moving again.

"Do not mistake this for an act of mercy." Razul hissed. When the three corpses had moved close enough he let the Guillotine's chain play out from his grasp. The wickedly sharp blade leapt to the chain's limit and severed the head of one of them. Razul continued swinging the chain until the Guillotine had completed its bloody path, decapitating the other two as well.

As Razul reeled in the chain he heard the sound of something shuffling through the sand behind him. He whirled around but saw no one. A flash of movement caught his eye and he realized with horror what was coming for him now. It was the upper body of the man who Gulma had ripped in half. Hand over hand it was pulling itself towards Razul, leaving a trail of gore upon the sand behind it.

With a growl of anger mixed with revulsion Razul stalked towards the pitiful creature. Its arm reached out to grapple his ankle as one of his Iron Maidens descended swiftly, crushing its skull and the machine attached to it. Razul felt a surge of electrical current through the weapon's iron bell guard but he did not withdraw his hand despite the pain. Instead he continued to twist his arm, grinding metal and bone into the sand until his rage was spent.

"What horror has been sent to plague me?" Razul hissed under his breath as he scanned the area for another of the foul creatures to vent his displeasure upon.

"I did indeed." Razul answered Kikiora as he took his Guillotine in hand,
"But it appears that someone has resurrected him."

Kikiora could only smile as the moving corpses moved towards the two of them.
Unlike Razul who almost showed a little fear of the reanimated creatures Kikiora liked the idea of killing someone more than once.
She loved a good fight and she knew that even if they were not as strong as Gulma was they did think about their attacks and moves.

Unfortunately only a few moments after spotting the reanimated people she realized that they were not moving as fast as they once did when alive.
Razul took no time in aproching the clown, with his arms stretched out he delivered a punch to his head.

The mechanical creature along with the head of the clown shattered as the head came away from the body.
''These are no fun.'' Kikiora said as she watched Razul kill a few more with little to no trouble at all.

Three more moved in on the man as he swung his weapon around, taking their heads off.
One head rolled in Kikiora's direction, rolling across the ground and coming to a stop at her feet.
She bent down and picked the odd creature up.

She looked over the metal crab like thing, ''Valuan?'' She asked herself.
The only time she could think of that she had seen such things were back when Ixa'taka was under Valuan rule.
However these things looked more twisted than anything the Armada would of made.

The small creature started to move it's legs which Kikiora responded with by crushing the metal frame with her hand.
Red liquid spilled from the body as if it was blood, yet she could tell from the smell that it was indeed not blood at all.

"What horror has been sent to plague me?" Razul shouted out as he took care of one more living corps.
This caught Kikiora's attention as she looked over at the man.

The desert was almost empty, all she could see was Razul and one more reanimated corps that was slowly coming up from behind her.
She reached out and placed her hand on the anchor as she eyed Razul.
''You would be a fantastic fight...'' She muttered to herself, knowing that if she was to battle the man right now she would probably get the fight she was looking for.
She did not respect men and saw them as weak, yet this was the second time that she had ever seen a man who she considered dangerous.

Her grip on the anchor tightened as she knew she was not to engage in this fight.
''Sorry, I really would like to kill you here...'' She started to say to Razul.
''But I believe you would be a better match for him.''

As she spoke the living corps now stood inches from her back, it's arms raised and ready to pounce.
Yet just as the corps moved a loud shot rang out across the desert.
The head of the corps splattered across the ground as a single speeding bullet shot over Kikiora's shoulder.

As the corps fell to the desert floor Kikiora stayed calm as if she knew it was going to happen.
The metal creature let go of the head and started to scurry away but was no match for Kikiora's foot as she slammed it down on the 'crab'.

No sooner as she had crushed it under foot a rope came down to her side which she quickly wrapped her legs and arms around as it carried her away.
The small wooded boat only had one other passenger, a man who would not look out of place in Nasr.
Covered in red and brown cloaks he looked though his goggles right at Razul, aiming his rifle in his direction.

''I would not make him angry Razar.'' Kikiora placed her hand against the rifle.
''He is worthy of a fight.'' Kikiora looked out across the desert.

In the distance sure enough she could see The Misery.
Kikiora was pleased with the day she had, she got to fight a large number of people and go up against a giant monster of a man.
The gold she did not care for but the most important thing for her was she found another male who if she was to fight there would be a chance that she would not come out of the fight alive.

This thought pleased the hunter, yet she knew that as a member of The Misery it would be her Captains honor to fight.
She looked back over her shoulder at Razul as he disappeared into the distance,
''Until that day.'' She grinned.

Razul stood panting beneath Nasr's sweltering sun. His shoulders rose and fell as he struggled to slow his heart rate and allow the adrenaline to stop flowing. Razul was not a young man anymore but he was satisfied with his performance here today. Moreso he was confident in his ability to maintain control over his minions through physical intimidation if it came to that.

A gunshot rang out, signaling the end of the battle. As the last corpse fell Razul sheathed his weapons and turned to regard the newcomer arriving in a small boat. His hand gripped the handle of the pepperbox but did not withdraw it just yet. One shot remained but Razul wasn't being threatened. He hoped it wouldn't come to that. He was tired and Kikiora was probably more of a challenge than he could handle right now.

Thankfully it seemed that the Amazon wasn't in the mood the fight anymore either. She clambered aboard the boat and departed the scene without so much as a wave of her hand. Razul didn't bother with such pleasantries either. Instead he turned to watch a cloud of sand that was rising in the distance. His ride back to civilization was also approaching.

The cloud grew closer and the whine of the skiff's engine could be heard now. Soon the small craft hove into view. Reaching the battlefield it slowed down and traced a meandering course around all of the carnage. The skiff coasted to a stop next to Razul and the driver stepped out to open the carriage's door for him to enter.

"Well done master. You are victorious." The driver congratulated Razul. But he paid the driver no heed. Instead his attention was focused on the ship that was sailing overhead.

"Misery." Razul breathed the dread ship's name. Although he was not a pirate he had heard of the Misery and it's captain. Anyone with any involvement with the underworld knew and feared the name Cularmati.

"Hmm, so she was a part if his crew?" Razul spoke to himself. He had heard that Captain Cularmati surrounded himself with strong fighters. If Kikiora was any indication of their individual skills then the Misery's crew were to be feared indeed.

"Master?" The driver asked, hearing Razul's question. But he was ignored again as Razul was lost in thought.

It just so happened that Razul had been planning a large-scale operation for some time now. In fact it was the goal of this operation for which the Zivilyn Bane had been formed in the first place. And yet they alone would not be able to complete it. No, further assistance from outside of their organization would be called for.

As Razul watched the Misery sail away he realized that a man such as Cularmati would be a worthy partner in this venture. Razul decided to put his minions to task in tracking down the Misery and then approach its captain with the proposal.

Razul actually found himself looking forward to meeting a man of Cularmati's reputation face-to-face. And once Kikiora had related the day's events to her captain Razul was confident that Cularmati would be willing to meet with him as well.

"Fly free little bug." Razul spoke to Kikiora across the distance. "You will bear sweet pollen."

By now the driver had become perplexed at Razul's behavior. And yet he dared not question him. When Razul finally turned to address him he nearly leapt out of his shoes in surprise.

"Carry me back to my mansion." Razul ordered him as he stepped into the carriage. The driver bowed respectfully before leaping back into his seat. With a mechanical roar the skiff surged back to life and slowly turned around before speeding off into the desert.

"Soon my dear. We shall meet again." Razul addressed the memory of Kikiora again as he peered out of the skiff's window at the bloodstained sand that was rapidly falling away behind him.

"And may our next encounter be as glorious as this one."
