Raven jumped down for her crate with a grin. She walked over to the side of the ship and watched as the last few crew members made their way down to the island. With the last of them gone she kicked the plank to one side as she blew them all a kiss. ''Don't go eating each other now.'' She tease, knowing it would be ages before another ship passed by. ''Right you low life worms!'' Raven shouted out as she turned around to see just what was left of the crew. ''You have all decided to stay with me, probably for the gold.'' She pointed at the group of people, many who stayed after hearing gold and some who just feared for their safety. ''Not gold Im interested in.'' Bam called out as he stepped forwards from the crowd, He winked at his new captain. ''Aww isn't that sweet.'' Raven replied as she lustfully walked towards Bam. Suddenly her leg came crashing into his groin, sending him down on all fours. ''Show you captain some respect you maggot!'' Raven snapped at him as she took out her pistol and shot him in the right leg. Raven looked up at the group, ''Any one else want to try me?!'' She asked as a few of them stepped back. Her mood, just like the wind changed as she noticed Annie's face in the group. With a smile she turned and walked towards one of the large crates. ''From now on we are all pirates, under my command.'' Raven placed her hand against the crate as she turned to look at Bam and Axel, ''Open it!'' As soon as they heard the command Axel and Bam, after picking himself up, rushed to the large crate. Using their swords they pulled the crate open, ''Bingo!'' Axel shouted as a small crate of bottles fell in front of him. ''Is that what I think it is?'' Bam asked his captain. ''It is, now drink up! The lot of you!.'' Raven picked one of the bottles up and tossed it high into the crowd. ''Today you learn how generous I can be.'' Raven told her new crew as she pulled out her pistol. ''But if you dare cross me!'' No sooner as she spoke she pulled the trigger, the bullet shattered the bottle before it could even start to descend on the crowd. A few of the crew members rushed for the crates, talked started among them. They seemed to enjoy the forced career change. Raven looked over at Annie and grinned and she walked past Bam, taking something from his pocket. She tossed the object at Annie, ''Here you go.'' Raven winked as the packet of ammo was tossed towards the young girl. Raven then bent down and picked up a small box from the floor were most of the small crates now were. She walked Up to the girl and passed her the small box, ''Here, don't smoke them all at one.'' Raven winked. With that She turned to her crew, ''Enjoy yourselves for now!'' Her kind words sounded almost like an order. The new Captain then turned to face two people she had spotted early on, two people she never could of imagined would stay. ''Alex, Mick!'' She called out as she put her arms around each of their backs. ''You two had better come with me.'' With her arms still around the two she walked them to the bridge. ~ The door to the bridge flung open as Alex found himself being chucked though the air onto the floor. ''Was there any need for that!?'' He called out as he picked himself up, ''I was following you wasn't I ?'' Raven laughed as she walked past Alex, ''Come on, don't tell me you don't like it.'' She winked at him. If there was one thing Raven loved it was treating men like dirt, if they themselves liked it or not. Mick closed the door and Alex took a seat. They both waited to see just what this Black Pirate had in store for the two. ''You two did not join me for gold...'' Raven started as she turned her back to them. ''Yet Im sure none of you stayed for little old me.'' Raven blushed as she teased the two. She knew they stayed in order to survive and escape at a later date. ''I have been with Regal Co for many years now,'' Alex explained, ''Im sure I made the right choice.'' Alex then stood up and saluted at Raven, ''Im sure if you have any honor you will allow us two to go free after we have done for you what it is you need us and the crew for.'' Raven could not help but burst into a fit of laughter, ''In all my years...hahaha, well I never...'' Raven finally stopped herself, ''Ok, Ok, I'll tell you what.'' She took out a navigation chart and place it in front of the two. ''One of you sail the ship while the other helps, ok.'' The two took a look at the map, ''This sails right towards the Platform?'' Alex told his new captain. ''You can't seriously be thinking about taking as ship of that size!?'' ''Oh but I do!'' Raven grinned back at the two of them. She folded her arms and gave out a little sigh, ''You know I might just let you two have some of my gold.'' ''Gold!?'' Mick asked, surprised that he would be getting some. ''Yes, Gold.'' Raven replied. ''We are going to find my old ship...'' She started to walk back towards the door of the bridge. ''Wait a minuet!'' Alex shouted out in sudden shock, he had just put one and one together. ''Your name is Raven right? Your Ship....would it happen to be...The white Raven?'' ''The white Raven!?' Mick turned to Alex, ''You mean that old Valuan ship, said to be made from gold!?'' The two turned to face Raven, only to see that she had already gone. |

Annie stood back and watched while Raven laid down the law. To her it seemed as if the female pirate had done this sort of thing before. She certainly had it down to a science, as soon enough all of the men who had remained on board were eating out of the palm of her hand. "Like training a bunch of huskras." Annie snickered. Raven punished one of the men with a gunshot to his leg then rewarded the rest with a crate full of wine bottles. Annie got a reward as well as Raven came over to her and handed over first a small box of bullets and then a case of cigars. "Whoa, Golden Seal brand." Annie gasped when she saw the label on the box. It was an extremely expensive brand of cigar that was sold mostly in Upper City, Valua. Annie withdrew one of the cigars and passed it underneath her nose, inhaling the aroma that only noblemen could afford to enjoy. "Wow, thanks a heap boss lady!" Annie thanked Raven but the pirate had already moved on to talk to a couple of other sailors. ~ Left on deck with the rest of the crew Annie lit one of her cigars and took a puff from it. She savored the taste of it, closing her eyes contentedly. "Now there's a lady who knows when she's got something good in her mouth." A rude voice interrupted her quiet time. Annie glanced over at Bam who was still seated upon the deck and dabbing at the gunshot wound on his leg. Despite the pain he was probably feeling he was still trying to be charming in a back-alley sort of way. From somewhere Bam had managed to get ahold of a bottle of booze. He took a swig of the fiery liquid and returned his attention to his wound. "I think my leg could use a woman's touch, don't you?" He said without looking up at Annie. "Sure. Lemme give ya a hand with that leg." Annie offered, sauntering over to him and crouching down to get a better look at the gunshot wound. "Looks like it needs to be cleaned first. So you don't get an infection." She suggested. "I think there's something in the first-aid kit on the bridge." Bam answered. "Want to be a dear and go fetch it for me, pretty please?" Annie arched an eyebrow at him. "Nah, this'll do just fine." She returned, snatching the bottle from the deck. She then upturned it above his wound, washing it beneath the cascade of liquor. "OW OW OWWWW! Dammit it, what the..." Bam yelped in pain when the alcohol in the liquor began to sting. "Get away, I'll do it myself!" "You shouldn't move it. You'll lose blood that way." Annie continued her ministrations. "Gotta cauterize the wound first." She said, pressing the end of her cigar down on the puckered flesh of Bam's leg. "OOOOWWWW!" Bam screamed. He began to hyperventilate, glaring at Annie as if trying to decide whether to punch her or pass out from the pain. Annie made the decision for him. "Here, I'll give you something for the pain." She offered, smashing the liquor bottle across the top of his head. Bam's eyes rolled up into his head and he slumped back onto the deck amid the shattered glass. Standing up and dusting her skirt off Annie took a moment to relight her cigar. She glanced around at the crewmen who had watched the exchange and were now staring at her in open-mouthed shock. "Oh don't worry, I ain't the ship's medic or anything." She assured them. "Just trying to help out a little. Does anyone else need a hand?" In unison everyone shook their heads. |

The sound of a man calling out in pain caught Raven's attention as she walked along the side of the ship. She poked her head around one of the many crates to see a group of men walking away from Annie as Bam was the one in pain. Raven smiled as she disappeared back down the side of the large crate, ''Seems I was right to keep her around, she will make things more interesting.'' The Black Pirate then turned to look back at the bridge to see Mick staring at her from one of the windows. Raven winked back which made him move away from view. ~ ''I don't trust her...'' Mick whispered to Alex and he moved over to check the navigation charts. ''Nor do I, she is a Black Pirate and you should never trust one.'' Alex replied as he turned the wheel. Mick took a gander at the map, ''So this White Raven, you think it's real?'' Mick asked as he marked out their position. ''Is it real?'' Alex mocked, ''Of course it is'' He turned to face Mick with a look of surprise that he had not heard of the ship. Then again Alex was a Valuan were as Mick was born in Mid-Ocean. ''The white Raven was once in possession of a very wealthy Valuan lord,'' Alex started to explain the story to Mick. ''The Ship was taken by some Black Pirate who met his end at the hands of a Valuan Captain, but not before handing the ship over to his first mate.'' ''His first mate?'' Mick asked, taken in by the story. ''She was a woman who went by the name Raven, the reason she renamed the ship the White Raven.'' Alex tried to think for a moment but he could not recall the name of the ship before she got a hold of it. ''Anyway the hull is said to be made from gold, and as a Black Pirate Im sure she filled it with all kinds of gold.'' ''So.....where is it?'' Mick wondered. Alex shook his head as he turned to take the wheel, ''If I knew where it was do you think I would be working for Regal?'' ~ Raven made her way along the ship's side slowly watching her new crew, seeing who she could trust. She had already planned on dumping another load of them off before reaching the Platform. ''Axel!'' She shouted as she saw the large man walk past the crate she was behind. ''Who me?'' Axel replied. ''No, the guy behind you with brains.'' Raven snapped back, only to watch as Axel looked around before he realized she was being sarcastic. ''Come with me, I need another crate open, now!'' The two of them walked to the front of the ship, most of the crates looked the same however there was one that did not fit. Raven pulled a small scrap of paper from the belt on her back, ''Thats the one!'' She picked up a crowbar and shoved it into Axel's hands, ''Open it!'' ''By myself?'' He muttered. Raven took the crowbar from him and used it to hit him across the back of his head, ''Yes you worm, now open it!'' She then shoved the crowbar back into his hands. Axel used up most of his strength just getting the door an inch open. ''Man this one doesn't want to open.'' He called out as he almost went down. Raven grabbed the crowbar and kicked him to one side, ''Go get a drink, I'll take it from here!'' She snarled at the man. Axel went back to see how Bam was doing. ~ Alex sat down next to Bam, ''How is it?'' He asked as he looked at Bam's leg, the sight was not good. ''Crazy girl messed it up!'' Bam called out, quickly covering him own mouth incase she was still around. ''That girl, shes nuts.'' Bam then told Axel. Axel looked up at the sky, ''you think she is crazy, what about Raven?'' He turned to look up at the bridge, ''We don't even know where we are going, just that it's for gold.'' Bam tried to laugh, ''A ship full of gold!'' He replied. ~ The door of the crate was now open, Raven had managed to push the doors apart thanks to Axel doing most of the work beforehand. ''Hello beautiful.'' Raven said as she moved into the crate, running her fingers down the side of the metal container. She tossed the scrap of paper to the ground, no longer needing it. ''Looks like the platform will be no problem now.'' She giggled to herself and her fingers moved from the side of the crate to her own thighs. She then reached out and took a hold of a small metal device with a single red button. Raven placed the device on her belt as she pulled the dusty cover off from the object inside. The cover flew into the sky and drifted away. Raven grinned as she looked over the large device, the silver metal shone in the light as the yellow moonstones around the side shone even brighter. ''You always had the best stuff, you mad old man.'' Raven laughed to herself. ''She had heard stories of a Valuan scientist who was a little creative with his creations.'' She then checked she had the smaller device still one her belt, ''Can't miss place you.'' She said out loud, knowing that if the small button was pressed then the ship she was on would be nothing but dust. ''With this the platform is mine.'' Raven made her way back to the center of the ship were the crew seemed to be having a party of their own. ~ ''Hey Alex....'' Mick asked as he looked up from the charts. ''Does Raven know Regal ships are unarmed? I mean when we get to the platform could we not just turn her over to them?'' Alex sighed as he shook his head, ''She is not stupid, Im sure she knows what we are carrying.'' Mick rubbed his head for a moment, ''Oh that crate that is to be destroyed as soon as we get it to Valua?'' ''Indeed.'' Alex replied as he looked out across the sky. ''Just what is inside it?'' Mick wondered, not realizing he was once told before the crate arrived yet his attention was never on work. ''....Anti ship disintegrator...'' Alex looked right at Mick, ''it was found by Regal Co and so we were ordered to return it to Valua and destroy it.'' Mick looked back at the charts, ''....return it?'' He muttered. With nothing else to do Annie decided to take a look around the ship on her own. She walked away from the festivities that were taking place on the deck and headed back towards the rear of the ship. There were a lot more of those gaudy purple cargo containers here and Annie was really beginning to dislike that color. 'Uniforms and boxes. Boxes and uniforms." She muttered to herself. "They're all purple. Stupid stupid purple." So much purple made her want to smash and grind things. "You think you can mess with me? I've got something for you!" Annie screamed at the nearest cargo container as she raised her foot to kick it. A wave of pain shot up her leg as her toes crashed against the solid metal crate. "Oooww, you sonuva.....you win. For now." She grumbled unhappily. Annie stormed off, plotting revenge against the crate. And that's when she caught sight of the captain lady. It looked like she was also having trouble with one of those stupid purple crates. But unlike Annie it seemed like Raven had the upper hand. The upper hand and a CROWBAR! "Ah, just what I need." Annie said with a smug grin on her face. She'd show that crate who was boss. All she needed was that crowbar. Her mind began to churn up all manner of horrible things she could do to that crate with it, causing her to laugh maniacally. Once Annie stopped daydreaming she realized Raven had already left. With a snort of disgust Annie went to look for her. Her search was brought up short the moment she passed by the crate Raven had opened. "What have we here my pretty?" Annie asked some imaginary friend, or possibly one of the voices in her head, as she beheld the metallic panel within the crate. Like a magpie she was drawn to its shiny surface. Her hand reached out involuntarily to touch it. There was a panel set into the strange device with buttons and lights around it. In a childish fit of curiosity Annie pressed one of them, causing the panel to light up. A whirring noise started up from within its metallic shell. "Oh hell, what did I do?" Annie began to panic. She frantically pressed at more of the buttons but that just seemed to make things worse. "Dammit, calm the @#$& down!" She yelled at the device, kicking it as hard as she could. She then breathed a sigh of relief as the machine powered down and the lights flickered out. "Hope I didn't break it." Annie whispered, peering around to make certain no one had seen what she'd done. "Only one way to find out." She nodded to herself. Her finger snaked out, once again homing in on the button she'd pressed before. "Wait a sec." Annie said, pausing for a moment to think about what she was doing. Realizing that she was about to repeat her previous error, thus starting the whole ordeal over again, Annie mentally kicked herself just like she'd kicked the cargo container earlier but without hurting herself this time. Holding up her hands as if to ward of the strange machine Annie turned to walk away. "I'm done here. Guess I'll go find the captain lady now." She decided. As she walked away Annie began to calm down. What had she been so worked up over anyway? It's not like pressing a few buttons would have blown up the ship or anything. That was just crazy talk. |

Raven looked around at her crew, half out cold on the floor from the drink and the rest only moments from joining them. ''Just like every other crew.'' She grinned to herself as she looked around for Annie. ''Where did that girl get too!?'' Raven worried, knowing she could cause some trouble if alone for too long. ''Well shes the crew problem now.'' She joked to herself as she walked into the open crate that held the drink and other items which the upper people of Valua will never see. The Black Pirate took out a small crate of wines, ''Classy.'' She muttered to herself as she then took a couple of glasses to go along with the drink. She paused on her way out of the crate, her eyes focused on a small box similar to the one she passed to Annie earlier. '' Why not..'' She told herself as she added the box to her small supply of goods. Raven made her way out of the crate, stepping over the members of the crew who laid across the deck. ''Care to join me?'' Called out one of the drunk men as he raised his hand, almost touching Raven's leg. ''Me?'' Raven replied in a shocked voice, ''Join a worm like you!?'' As she stepped over him she made sure her boot landed on his groin as hard as she could. ''In your dreams, haha.'' The man rolled over in pain which only made Raven happy. She then looked up at the silver moon as it was getting smaller in the distance. ''Not long now.'' She told herself as she turned her head to see the yellow moon in the far distance. Raven made sure she had her goods and then made her way to the bridge. ~ ''So how long now?'' Mick asked as he tried to find where he was on the map. ''You have not lost your place again have you?'' Alex replied, looking annoyed as he pointed to the charts. ''We are here, about another day away to the Platform.'' As the two worked out their location the door to the bridge flung open! ''I'm home boys!'' raven called out in her flirty voice. Alex turned back to the front as Mick looked down at the maps. ''I guess women are not your thing?'' Raven joked as she used her behind to swung the door shut. ''N...no.. sir..it just..'' Mick started to mumble as Raven walked over. ''It's what?'' She whispered into his ear as she placed the boxes on the floor of the bridge. ''To be honest, well I'm scared of you...'' Mick Finally replied to his captain. This caused Raven to laugh out, ''You have nothing to worry about, for now.'' She winked at him as she kicked the boxes across the floor towards her seat. The Black Pirate sat down, letting out a sigh as she crossed her legs. She could tell that it would not be long before these two fell for her just like the rest of the crew, Mick before Alex she placed a bet against herself. Raven took a hold of a wine bottle and a glass, ''I'm not the only girl you need to be scared off.'' She poured herself some wine, ''The Annie can be a little devil too.'' She grinned as she took a sip of her wine. There was in fact something about Annie which reminded Raven of her early childhood. Edited by Daiohma, Nov 1 2011, 07:54 PM.

With nothing better to do Annie decided to search for the captain and join her in doing whatever it was she was doing right now. Taking one final drag off of the stub of her cigar Annie flicked its remains over the railing and retraced her steps back to the foredeck where the rest of the crew was enjoying their wine. As Annie reached the foredeck her ears were filled with the sounds of merriment. It seemed the crew was taking full advantage of Raven's kindness, drinking the wine she'd given them as if it would evaporate at any moment. By now half of them were drunk off their asses. The other half had passed out already. "Heeey sweetie-pie. Wanna have a drink with me?" Came a slurring voice from behind Annie. At the same time she felt an unwelcome hand groping her ass. Annie whirled around, laying eyes on the drunken sailor who apparently had a death wish. A wide, sloppy grin split his face which was flushed from the alcohol. "Sure! I'd just loooove to pour you a tall glass of I'M GONNA KICK YOUR ASS PUNK!" Annie shrieked, grabbing the sailor's offending arm and throwing him to the deck. He landed with a resounding thud. And before he even realized he had fallen Annie was all over him like a buzzard on roadkill. "Wha~! Oh, dammit! Lemme up!" The drunken sailor pleaded as Annie leapt atop him and began folding him up like an accordian. After several seconds the sailor finally wet his pants and passed out. Annie hocked a loogie in his face and walked away. ~ The door to the bridge flew open and Annie barged in. "How the hell are ya?!" She spoke loudly, now flushed and smiling as well. Apparently she'd found a bottle of booze enroute to finding Raven and was getting a little shit-faced herself. Glancing blearily around the room Annie picked out Raven and waved to her. Then she spotted Mick and Alex doing sailor stuff and decided to give them a hand. "Whatcha doin'? Oooh, maps! Lemme see, accordin' to this we're goin'......uh, over there!" Annie pointed vaguely out of the window and then collapsed face-first on the floor. At that point it was made clearly known that Annie just couldn't hold her liquor. |

The storage room of the ship was eerily quiet. Many of sailors had now fallen asleep in an overly drunken stupor. No one noticed that one of the wooden crates was being sliced open from the inside by a rusty saw. The metal crate next to it burst open. A large fist peeled the metal frame back like an orange. A figure hopped from the wooden crate dusting off a fine layer of filth from it's clothes. “This had to be your most brilliant idea yet FRANK...” The dwarfish man said coughing up saw dust. “Travel-by-mail, who wouldn't want that?” His voice was becoming more and more sarcastic. “After all, air fares are so high nowadays!” He shook his fist at the large figure stumbling out of the metal crate beside him. “Next time I get the box with the air holes!” The large beast adjusted the bird-cage on it's head and shrugged. “What do you mean you had a GOOD TIME!?” He scampered to the metal crate in shock. “How did you fit a SHOWER in there!?” The two stopped bickering realizing that they were not alone in the room. Both the short and hulking individual glanced at each other. “What do you know...a sea of drunken and smelly pirates...” He shook his head as a crooked smile appeared under the hood of his coat. FRANK leaned back as the merchant threw his arms into the air ecstatic.”PERFECT!!!” He rubbed his hands together cackling, a small trickle of bloody drool appearing under his chin. “Potential customers!” His excited demeanor was offset by FRANK's emotionless expression. The merchant snapped his fingers expecting immediate obedience. “Bring the merchandise!” His assistant looked about for a brief moment, examining each of the broken crates carefully. He then turned and shrugged at his superior. “What do you mean YOU DIDN'T BRING IT!?” A collective intoxicated groan came from the sailors around them. The merchant slumped down for a moment. “Agh...very well....” He yanked an empty bottle of grog from a passenger and spat into it. “It looks like we're going to have to improvise!” The crowd watched him use a filthy oil-covered rag to clean the bottle. The merchant then knelt down to pick several pieces of wooden shards and nails. FRANK seemed completely absent as the random bits of metal were placed into his oversized hands. “Here! Mash this into a fine paste!” The massive beast stared into space for a moment before complying. Some of the sailor's mouths dropped open at the creature stunned to see him pulverize the material without a scratch on his fingers. The merchant took the opportunity to draw attention from the crowd. “Hello good folks!” He leaped onto a large crate overlooking the mass of people. “Ever have those terrible hangover problems?” FRANK was already depositing the brown material into the bottle and shaking it like a jackhammer. “Well they will trouble you no longer!” The merchant lifted up one bony finger. “Just one tiny sip of this magical little concoction and you will be singing a different tune!” FRANK stepped in holding the bottle of liquid putty. “Any takers?” |

Raven watched as Annie burst into the bridge, bottle in hand and looking a little drunk. "How the hell are ya?!" She shouted out as she wondered over to Alex and Mick. The girl tried to point out where she was on the map but soon collapsed face down on the floor. ''Theres a girl who can't hold her liquor.'' Joked Raven as she tossed her empty bottle against the wall. ''Probably a good thing she is out cold, isn't she the one with the big gun?'' Asked Mick. Alex turned to take a look at Annie, ''Yeah that's the one.'' He looked up at Raven. The Black Pirate shrugged as she smiled, ''I think she will come in useful when we take the Platform.'' Raven then reached for the small device on her belt, ''Not that it will be a problem.'' Alex and Mick looked at one another for a moment as they both knew what the small device was for. ''You know that thing was created by that mad man?'' Mick told Raven. ''Neverswich I believe his name was, Julian Neverswich.'' Alex added to the conversation. Raven put the small device back on her belt as she shook her head, ''All I know is what this thing can do, and with it whose going to argue with me?'' She knew right now she had the upper hand while the weapon was under her control. The Pirate turned her head as she gazed out of the windows, ''Soon it will be time.'' She muttered as she watched the sky. It had started to get dark out, ''Maintain this current speed, we should reach the Platform by mid-day tomorrow.'' Just as Raven gave the order there was a knock at the door, ''Enter!'' Raven called out. The door slowly opened as Bam hobbled in, ''Theres some commotion below deck sir!'' He reported. Axel was standing behind him with his sword already drawn and ready for action. ''stowaways Captain!'' He added to the report. ''Stowaways? On my ship?'' Raven grinned, ''I will have to see about that!'' Raven turned to Alex and Mick, ''Maintain this speed!'' With that Raven went on her way to see just what was going on. ~ The crew members of the Regal ship that had made their way below deck were now standing in surprise of what was going on. They started to talk amongst themselves in disbelief that people would try and get a free ride by hiding in a crate. ''It's a good job the Captain was not Colman.'' One sailor told another as he took a swig of his drink. ''We don't need no weapons!'' Shouted the only sober member there, ''We need rescuing from the Black Pira....'' Before he could finish his sentence Raven burst into the room, Axel and Bam not far behind her. ''Back on deck you filthy worms!'' Raven barked at the crew, ''crate 174! Unload it's contents and secure them to each side of MY ship!'' She pointed at the door as the crew walked on by her. ''Crate 174?'' Axel asked the captain. Raven turned her head as she looked him in the eyes, ''Canons!'' She replied with an evil grin. The crate of cannons were going to be delivered to Valua, but now that Raven was in charge she was going to put them to use. The ship was of Valuan make, so the cannons would not be hard to attach. However it would be tricky as the ship was not designed to hold any weapons. Axel and Bam followed the crew back onto the deck to oversee the cannons, leaving Raven with the stowaways. Raven, now alone with the stowaways took a good look at the two men. They looked like an odd pair, a short rat of a man and his partner, a huge guy with a cage on his head. ''Let me guess.'' Raven said as she crossed her arms against her chest, ''From the looks of you I'm guessing your pirates or bounty hunters. Yet you don't seem to have any weapons on you.'' She looked the two up and down for a moment before spotting the bottle that they were trying to sell. ''Merchants?'' Raven placed her hand against her face as she shook her head. ''If your planning on going to Valua your luck has run out!'' She pulled out her pistol and aimed it at the large man's face with a grin. ''Then again.'' The Black Pirate told herself as she lowered her gun, ''You two could be of use to me.'' Raven put her pistol away as she started to flirt with the two men, making sure they both got a good look of her body. ''I'm using this ship in order to gain a much larger ship, hehe.'' She walked around the two as she tapped her fingers across their backs. ''If you do a little job for me then I'm willing to give you this ship, when I'm done with it of course.'' Raven winked at the two. She stopped in front of the two men, blocking the only exit from the room. ''Well, what do you say? Help out this poor girl?'' Her hand hidden behind her back as her fingers toyed with her pistols trigger. ~ Alex and Mick looked up from their work as they heard loud banning from outside the bridge. They both looked out from the windows over the deck. A large purple crate had been smashed open with Axel standing on top yelling orders to the crew. Bam was on deck using a chain like a whip on any crew member that did not want to work. ''What are they doing now?'' Mick asked as he watched. ''Looks like they are trying to attach cannons to the ship.'' Alex replied as he pulled out a sheet of paper from his coat pocket. Mick looked over Alex's shoulder to get a good look at the paper, ''Isn't that a copy of the ships cargo?'' He said in surprise, ''Your not supposed to make a copy!'' Alex turned around so Mick could no longer see the list, ''I know, but what harm can it do?'' His eyes then looked down the list as he mumbled to himself, ''Upper Valuan goods.....Ship cannons....That bloody weapon....'' ''Anything else of interest?'' Mick asked as he tried to see the list. ''Not much, a crate of upper Valuan clothing....'' Alex's eyes suddenly caught sight of something interesting. ''Say, there is a crate full of Moon Stones!'' Mick snatched the list from Alex, he eyes focused on the crate, ''That's alot of Moon Stones! I wonder why Raven did not open it?'' Alex snatched the list back, ''There for use as ship fuel, not weapons. I'm sure Raven knows about them.'' The two started snatching the list back and forth from each other, both trying to see if there was anything else of interest. They both wanted to come out of this with something as they both knew they would probably never see this ship of it's cargo after Raven was done with it. Suddenly the wind caught the sheet of paper from the two of them. ''Mick!'' Alex yelled, ''You forgot to close the door!'' ''Not me! It was Bam, or Axel?'' Mick replied as the paper blew out of the door and over the side of the ship. The two watched from the window as the wind took the list into the distance. ''Well I guess crate 112 will have to do.'' Alex sighed. ''112?'' Mick asked. Alex smiled back at him, ''The cloths, I'm sure I'll get alot of money for them!'' Edited by Daiohma, Nov 8 2011, 08:32 PM.

"Snuh...uh, what the hell happened?" Annie asked as she suddenly bolted upright, coming out of her drunken stupor and scaring Alex and Mick in the process. She took a look around through bleary eyes and was slowly able to piece together the events that had led her to the bridge. "Oh right, I need a crowbar. Where'd the captain lady go?" Annie mumbled, massaging her head. She wasn't certain if the pain in her temple was caused by the alcohol or her tumble to the floor. She couldn't recall why she needed a crowbar either but crowbars were cool. You could tear up a lot of stuff with them and it was only natural that Annie should own one. "She went down into the hold." Alex answered her. "There are stowaways." Mick elaborated. Annie glanced up at both of them and fought back the sudden urge to puke. "The hold? @#$&. Guess I'd better get down there." ~ Annie nearly tumbled down the stairs on her way to the hold. Only her strong grasp on the handrail kept her upright. When she finally managed to stumble her way down to the floor Annie observed that most of the people down in the hold were just as drunk as she was. "S'cuse me. Pardon me." Annie muttered apologies as she stepped down on the belly of one of her fellow crewmen who was passed out on the floor. He belched loudly but did not awaken. "Cap'n ma'am! Where'd you go?" Annie called out, her loud voice causing several of the men nearby to wince. By some miracle Annie happened to spot Raven across the hold. There was a small crowd of people around her too. Making her way over Annie shouldered her way through to the front of the crowd. "One side, make way, move out of.....WHO THE HELL JUST TOUCHED ME?" Annie's progress was halted as someone in dire need of a beat-down groped her. Or he might have just brushed past her innocently. Either was cause for swift and blinding violence. But before Annie could make good on her murderous intentions a wave of nausea swept over her. "Oh man, gonna hurl....." Annie gasped, doubling over. She was able to keep her gorge down though and soon the sickening feeling began to slack off. She her head was still throbbing. "I need meds. Where are the meds man?" Annie wondered aloud. One of the less inebriated crewmen overheard her and answered. "That man there says he has a cure for hangovers." Annie looked at the man and then squinted at whoever he was talking about. Her eyes fell across the brightly dressed merchant and huge man who was holding a bottle. "S'what I'm talkin' about." Annie smiled sloppily. She elbowed her way forward until she was standing just below the box the merchant was standing atop. "Gimme that!" Annie snatched the bottle from FRANK while the merchant was being distracted by Raven. She up-ended the bottle, pouring the compressed mixture into her mouth. Predictably Annie wasn't able to stomach the concoction and immediately spewed it out onto the floor along with the contents of her stomach. "THAT'S NASTY!" Annie roared, dashing the bottle to the ground. Then she spotted a sailor who was weaving drunkenly back and forth beside her. There was a half-empty bottle of wine clutched in his hands. Without a second thought Annie yanked it out of his grip and took a long pull from it to wash the vile taste from her mouth. "That's better." Annie sighed. "Now...uh, oh right. The captain." She turned her attention back to Raven and the brightly dressed man. It seemed like some kind of a deal was about to go down. |

Raven turned her head and gave Annie a quick little smile while she waited for the two men to answer her. The Merchant and his partner Frank whispered to one another. They were not really in a position to take advantage of any situation right now as their simple plan to get to Valua had backfired on them. Raven's finger played with her pistols trigger as the Merchant finally turned to face her. ''A ship you say?'' He rubbed his hands together as he grinned. ''Indeed, a ship.'' Raven smirked back at the two. She turned towards the door and made her way out to the deck making sure the two stowaways followed her. ~ Up on deck Raven stood looking over the side of the ship as the two men made their way to her. ''So little lady, what can we do for you.'' The Merchant asked in his creepy voice. Raven shivered for a second, ''Little lady!?'' She muttered to herself as she tried to play it cool. ''We have a problem with the life boat.'' She smiled at the two as she turned around to face them. Her hands battled one another behind her back as one wanted to reach for her sword. Raven already had too much blood on her hands so these two would be in luck this time. ''Problem is the life boat release is stuck on this end, yet we have not checked the end attached to the boat itself.'' Raven explained as she leaned over the side pointing down at the small metal boat. The Merchant nudged Frank as a sign to follow him as he climbed down to the small boat. As they went down it caught the attention of a few of the crew members who came over to see what was going on. ''Life boat broken or something?'' Bam asked Axel as the two tried to see what was going on. ''Looks fine to me!'' The Merchant called up to Raven. ''I know..'' Raven's voice was once again cold and serious as she pulled out her blade as quick as the eye could see. In a split second she had sliced the two ropes which were holding the life boat to the ship. The sound of metal clashing could be heard as the small life boat scrapped down the side of the ship and into the skies. ''You helped me, you get a 'ship'.'' Raven giggled to herself, ''Even if the ship is a boat.'' The Black Pirate returned her blade to her side as blew the two men a kiss, watching them helplessly sail away from view. The crew watched as this happened, which proved to them all that Raven was more determined and serious. She turned around to face the group, ''Cannons ready!?'' She shouted, causing half the men to cower in fear. ''No cannon balls!'' Axel's voice came from the back of the group as he waved his hand to get Raven's attention. Raven pulled out her pistol and fired a shot into the air, clearing the deck as the crew members ran for their lives. ''No cannon balls!?'' She repeated what Axel had already told her. She put her pistol away as her face changed from anger to a smile, as quick as the wind would change. ''Oh well, I guess it's looks that count.'' Raven looked up at her flag. ''We have the flag, the cannons.....and the surprise.'' She placed her hand against the small box on her belt, her finger gently pressing the button only so slightly as to not activate the device. ''Bam, go round up the crew...'' Raven told the large man as she became lost in thought. ''Right away Sir!'' He called out as he ran towards the others. Raven was lost in her mind, the thought of finding her long lost ship was getting her excited. Only a matter of a few minuets passed as Raven found herself being snapped back to reality. ''There all here!'' Bam told his captain. Raven looked up at her crew, half looked excited themselves as the rest looked scared for their lives. ''Listen up you lot!'' She shouted out across the deck while looking up at the darkened sky. ''Night will be upon us within the hour so get some sleep!'' Raven then turned her attention to the group ''Tomorrow we arrive at the Platform!'' Chatter started to break out around the group, some men could not believe she would go against such a large ship. ''All I need is that ship and five crew!'' Her eyes darted up to the bridge where Alex and Mick were before looking over the group. She looked Bam and Axel in the eyes then had a quick look for Annie. ''As soon as the Platform is mine you will all be fr...fre..'' Raven cleared her throat for a second, ''Always had a problem with finishing that sentence.'' She gave out a laugh before looking at the group again. ''Still here!? Get to your beds!'' The Black Pirate snapped at her crew. The group of men started to clear as each of them made their way to the crew cabins. ''Hold it you two!'' Raven clicked her fingers at Bam and Axel. ''I need to big strong men to stay on deck as look outs.'' Bam and Axel both gave out a sigh, they knew there was no going against Raven's orders. ''Night night boys.'' She joked as she walked away from the two in a seductive manner. ~ ''Looks like we will reach the Platform at sun rise.'' Alex looked around to see if his words were falling on death ears, which it turned out they were. ''Oi, wake up!'' Alex then shouted as he saw Mick had fallen asleep over the charts. Just then the door to the bridge burst open, ''No sleep!'' Raven barked as she clipped Mick around the back of his head with her hand. Mick fell off his chair and face first onto the floor, ''Im up Im up!'' Raven went and sat down in her chair, crossing her legs as she rested her head against her hand. ''I have Bam and Axel on watch, so you two just keep the ship on course.'' The Pirate then tipped her hat over her head in order to hid her face completely from the two. Raven rested her eyes as night fell, falling into a light sleep. ''Not long now, my white Raven....my...max...'' |
