Ship's Name: Kraken (Was once the Pegasus)

Ship's Master: Technically the Valuan Armada, but it was stolen and converted into the Kraken.

Captain: Pierre

Appearence: Looks more like a submarine than the cruiser it once resembled, the Kraken is a cylindrical ship that rounds off at the ends. It is covered in various metal plates, most of them silver, gray, or bronze in color, bolted onto the sides in no specific pattern whatsoever. There are guns and cannons sticking out in random places. The five engines stick out from the back at unearthly angles, and while it doesn't appear that they would propel the ship in any direction available in this dimension, they can be activated at different 'power levels' to give the ship large amounts of maneuverability (the main engine is the only one used normally to push the ship forward, the other four aren't always activated). It has a small porthole, the only window on the ship, that opens to the command deck. Inside, the cylindrical hallways resemble blood vessels.

Capacity: The ship can carry only a few people as well as Pierre's crew of five mindless robots. Quarters are cramped, and the only real open spaces inside the ship are the command deck (which also houses the kitchen), Pierre's laboratory, and the multiple engine rooms. Pierre sleeps and lives in a small compartment in one of the hallways. Aside from ammunition and limited scientific equipment for Pierre's lab, no cargo can fit in the ship.

Armament:
4x Gatling Gun (Classified as a Secondary Cannon) – Rapid-firing guns sticking out from crevices between armor plates. They don't do very much damage, but they carry a lot of ammo and can be used to quickly mow down lifeboats or flying monsters. Rather useless against larger ships.

2x Fragmenter Gun (Classified as Secondary Cannon) – More powerful secondary weapons that are used to fire on larger ships (featured in SoA game)

3x Pyrum Cannon (Classified as Main Cannon) – Main cannons that shoot red moonstone cannonballs. (I think these were in the SoA game... if they weren't, their power is comparable to the Prototype Cannons).

1x Thunderstorm Cannon (Classified as a S-Cannon) – A cannon that can shoot a concentrated beam of electricity drawn from a massive yellow moonstone. The moonstone power source and cannon are now located within the walls of the ship, decreasing the maneuverability of the cannon – in fact, now it can only shoot directly in front of the ship. It does considerable to high damage to most hulls, and can immobilize one enemy cannon for a while.

1x Catapult – It's a catapult, and it shoots things. Anything. Last resort weapon.

3x BOOM! - Main cannons that do not work. They are used for intimidation. Pierre occasionally dumps concentrated perchloric/sulfuric acid and flowers through the cannons onto the decks of other ships.

Armour: Made of metal plates anchored to the Pegasus by whatever means necessary. The plates are made out of various metals, mostly steel, and are up to two feet thick in places. The extremely heavy armor makes the ship much slower.

Engine: The Pegasus was, once upon the time, one of the fastest pirate ships ever, but now that it's been modified into the Kraken, the exact opposite is true. It's multiple heavy engines and thick plates of armor doesn't do much to help its speed.

Ship's History: The Kraken was originally the Pegasus, a superfast cruiser that Pierre stole from the Valuan Armada. He made minor modifications, but it still retained the overall shape of a Valuan ship. Pierre used it for various things, such as robbing merchant ships, setting various towns on fire, etc., etc. The notoriety it gained made it easily recognizable (Pierre had painted it all yellow), and it was shot down without much of a fight in South Ocean by a Valuan fleet.

The ship landed on an island and was almost completely destroyed, but Pierre rebuilt it into the Kraken with parts from various other shipwrecks he found on the island while living there for two years. No one has seen the Kraken yet, as Pierre has just emerged from his island lair in the ship.
