I'd like your help filling this out, if you have a better 20-40 word description of a ship, or if your ship isn't listed) Just a little thing I've been working on. Compares ships to other ships in a few areas. Taslin, Tatlin, Peter, and a couple others have looked this over and gave me their thoughts. Any more suggestions are welcome. Also, the values have no unit, and thus have no mean besides comparison. 40 "Max Speed" should go roughly (give or take) twice as fast as a 20, however it doesn't mean it goes 40 MPH, or any such value. Likewise, a 15 "Total Firepower" will have about half as much attacking power as say a 30 (give or take) but nothing more. The battle scores, just so you know, are calculations that factor in each of the 'stats.' Take these with a grain of salt. Unlike with the stats, a "40" doesn't mean that a ship can fight twice as well as a "20." Instead, a higher number just means they're probably better ships in combat. A smaller number, probably weaker. Peter and Karl thought that maybe firepower should be broken into "Standard" and "Magic." Your thoughts? My main concern was that it'd complicate things. Oh, and I'd like to add that unless things change, this isn't official. Just a pet project. =) Revision History 4-20-09 - Broke the Valuan and Black Fleet warships up; the charts were too crowded.
